I'm waiting to hear back from the vendor right now. If they say Ill have it by the end of the week or middle of next week, I can install it in time for IA. But if I can't get it in time, then Im just going to wait until the end of the month

Trying to do a custom charge harness on the TSX so I can tuck the wires however I figured out the starter is under the supercharger manifold and thus I can't get the wire off without removing the blower and then draining the entire aftercooler system so I can remove the aftercooler and then the manifold. I think I might just wait till I can do an entire semi tuck of the bay instead. Doesn't seem worth doing all that just to hide 4 wires no matter how much they stick out.

Bigger things I need to get done before IA are getting my A/C fixed, raising the car in the back so I can pack it full of all my shit, and doing an oil change.

Eric will your back seat area be available since you bike will be on your bike rack this year? I have a tent we could take but it will not fit in the TSX at all. Still have to figure out how I am getting a spare tire in the car as well.

I might be able to take the spare for you. I pack light and the trunk in the FR-S is surprisingly large.

I need to do a fluid change on the tranny and diff along with an oil change before IA too.

The spare I have is a 17x7.5 TE37 with 225/45/17 for sizing it up. I used to carry the factory spare behind the passenger seat but can't do that since I put the Spoon calipers on a few years back. This is one of the few road trips the car has been on since getting the trailer for it.

You should do what you traditionally have always done which is roll the tsx into your trailer. I'm slightly confused as to why you're driving it now with the thousands more you have invested in it. I would hate to see your front bumper end up like mine. Scars and battletorn with little specs of missing paint all around.

You should be able to fit it in any car. It's a long rectangular box shape.

I am sorry you're not prioritizing this congregation of individuals whom share a similar passion. I hope that whatever it is that you have prioritized will reap you much reward in the future.

I miss driving the car and being part of a large carovan cruise to events. Yes the trailer is nice to have and very convenient. However I do miss rolling with everyone to events. I enjoyed doing it last year in the F so I want to do it again.

And yes, I will take lots of photos for you. With the equipment I now have and the lens that is coming in the mail soon, the quality should be much greater than the photos from last year. Not to mention I am shooting in manual mode unlike last time haha.

I want to say like 10in x 10in x 54in I think. I will have my dad measure it tonight so we can be sure. I really need to get some coils with stiffer springs. 9k/5k just isn't getting it done.

Thanks Eric. I WANT to go but don't have the financial means to make it happen. You might know why that is.

I'm sure everyone will have a blast! Drive safely and take plenty of pictures

No I know where to purchase one. I am instead saving to buy a D7100 eventually though which will replace my D300 completely. Just waiting till I can play with one in a store to be 100% certain about that before selling my D300.

Primary reason is that it does not shoot video and video is something I have wanted to get into for a while now. Second reason is for better low light shooting from the new sensor in the camera. Other than that I am still perfectly happy with my D300. I love the depth of field in video you get from an SLR so just getting a regular video camera doesn't really fit the bill. I could buy a D3200 but then I have more gear to lug around I always seem to have to much as it is.

Gotcha

I love my D3100 but you're a much better photographer than I am, plus you have more goodies

I've used a D7000 and it was great. I'm sure you'll like the D7100.

Packing list for IA so far:

Clothes
Cooler
Camera gear
Car was supplies
Chairs
Spare tire
Tent
Jack

Can't really see how I can pack lighter than that and I am sure I will come up with more haha

Don't sell yourself short bud. I surely do not even reach close to the limits with my D300.

My upgrade interest is mainly a video decision. The other reason for wanting the D7100 over something like the D3200 is I am so used to having so many of the controls on the outside of the camera with quick reach buttons rather than going into menus and I don't want to give that up. I also like the feel of the fact the D300 body is heavier being made with magnesium and now they have made most of the D7100 like that as well. I will have to keep reading what the reviews say about the D7100 vs the D7000 though as the D7000 used are selling for great deals.

You're bringing Jack? I'm surprised he's going outside of Charlotte for a meet

Edit: I love the video function of the 3100. That's the only reason why I got rid of my D60.
