I feel like everyone is getting in on the lens fetish. It's kind of addicting haha. My goal is to buy the big daddy 70-200 which is what most pros always have. The damn thing costs so much.

Oh i almost forgot to tell everyone about my story from earlier today on the way back from the LEGO store..

Traveling south on 77, everyone is traveling along the road in good fashion until the woodlawn rd area. I came up on one of those 'left lane trains' that are usually caused by someone or 'the engine' not really moving as fast as they should be. So the pack starts dispersing and I find out the culprit is a black 05-09 RL. I get up beside them as we are approaching the 485 exit. Something told me this particular RL with NC tags needed the 485 exit and sure enough they did. The RL drops their speed and as a result, SO DID I!! Once they realized the exit was approaching quickly they decided to try and get ahead of me..but failed as I had the lexus in 3rd gear ready for their move. The RL was unsuccessful in securing their position ahead of me so then tried to back down to a slower speed, but failed again. The exit has arrived by this point, and with their blinker still engaged had to continue down 77 and COMPLETELY MISSED THEIR INTENDED EXIT. MUWAHAHAHAHA.

The whole idea is DO NOT BE A LEFT LANE BANDIT on the highway. If people are bunching up behind you, you need to ease over into the adjacent lane and let them move along. These trains cause absolute mayhem and can get very long. The driver of the RL obviously doesn't understand the concept and unfortunately dealt with the wrath from someone whom is highly passionate about driving and the nature of good form on the road.

Use your headlights during the day. Use your turn signal all the time and during lane changes. Get the fuck out of the way. Check your mirrors. It's really not hard.

I have been looking at lenses also, this kit lens is not cutting it. New lens or all new car audio stuff. Oh the choices, i love my music sounding nice in the car though.

It's very addicting but gets expensive quick. I would love a 12-24 to be my next one.

The 12-24 is amazing for landscape and houses. It is really hard to keep yourself out to reflection when shooting cars with it though. I love mine though.

I'm usually close to the object that I'm shooting so I NEED a 12-24

Using a 70-300 at Cars and Coffee won't get me much

After I successfully created distraughtness for the RL driver, i was overcome with a strong sense of elation. For the countless left lane bandits that have bothered me for years, I finally, FINALLY, was able to fuck one of them up. lol It was an absolute feeling of accomplishment. It was a brilliant display of strategic vehicular positioning. I burst forth with happiness and yelled at the top of my lungs.

So i just scanned my onboard diagnostics on the TL. Is it normal to throw 4 codes?! lol...

P2279 - intake air system leak
P0139 - The oxygen sensor is faulty or
The wiring to the sensor is broken / frayed or
There is an exhaust leak
P0159 - oxygen sensor slow response bank 2/sensor 2
P0138 - o2 oxygen sensor circuit high voltage bank 1/sensor 2

The lexus is throwing

P0155 - o2 sensor.

So pretty much, eff o2 sensors.

Ok so with this there are two places I would start with checking. They would be the cheapest things to check and may actually be causing your o2 sensors to show as faulty. My guess in your intercooler system might have a leak some where and also your exhaust since it scrapes so much make have over time caused the bolts to come lose and give you an exhaust leak.

The fact you have an issue before the engine and after the engine make me believe that you might actually not even have an issue with your o2 sensors.

So you don't have an EVAP code right now?

Yeah i guess there is no EVAP code, just those 4. I erased them so I will drive it around and see how long the light stays off.

They will probably keep coming back most likely. I would seriously investigate the intake and exhaust leak first.

ALLRIGHTY THEN gentlemen, i started the TL and got it up to operating temp by driving it to mcdonalds and back and the check engine light remained off. If I can get it to cool back down and then restart with no check engine light, and then get it to an inspection station before it comes back on then i am golden.

How long was that drive? I would want a successful 30min trip to make sure it doesn't come on. Also regardless of passing inspection you need to fix it cause if it is really tripping the O2 sensors then your car is not running at full power cause the ecu adjusts based on those readings.

I have always wondered if the Comptech Module for the AT is different than the MT cause I know it is for the TSX which means your car might not be running at optimal performance due to that and it might be what is also causing the issues.

Just throwing out ideas to help fix things for you.

It just needs to 'readiness' codes to pass out of the four total. This has always been the method of getting it to pass. It's just kind of annoying to me and I would rather not deal with it. It's bullshit that everyone living just south of me doesn't have to deal with this problem.
