Yea, I heard that on the news. Sad.

I was exhausted last night, the Explorer and GC are unmarked, not marked. The Taurus is the classic silver/blue. I will have to look next time I see one at night, Im not sure if they have HIDs.

The Explorers are usually white, with all chrome/badging blacked out. There are three antennas on the roof and lights in the rear windows and grill. Same goes for the GC. They also have the bars around the rear windows. Theyre pretty cool looking tbh.

Ahhhh ok i gotcha. I wonder if i actually came across a photo of one last night but didn't recognize it because it was unmarked. Do they have pushbars? I'm about to search again.

I do too.

There's a black H1 Slantback that I'll see in Cary sometimes. It's as wide as the lane

Flat driveway and a reasonable curb (luckily I have none) were requirements...along with AT LEAST a two car garage.

North Davidson area.

Give me $35k and I'll build a 3-car out back and you can use all three .

Eric - I just checked my dash cam and unfortunately its already overwritten the clip of the Explorer from a few days ago. Ill catch it again, I think they guy that takes it home lives near me. At least I usually see him in my area around 430 every afternoon. He rotates between the Jeep and the Explorer.

A couple hours ago I got a special request from someone to build a RCMP crown vic. After a quick search it was the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I have no idea if these requests are serious or not half the time, but hopefully this person is.

Nice!

I have a Blackvue DR400G-HD. Its a great little cam with gps built in. Id like to go baller status and do a full car DVR for a 360* view, but thats too pricey and complex.

I decided to start working on the hummer in the wee hours of the night and it's already looking fierce. Should have some pics up tomorrow at some point if i finish it.

I have that one. Make sure you get the 400 model and not the old 300 something as it had overheating issues. I have still yet to get it installed in the Lexus though.

Even the first gen 400 had overheating issues. They have the "season 2" that supposedly fixes that. Theres also a newer version with bluetooth.

I think I have the genII 400 from the group buy that was linked from the tsx site here. The bluetooth model would be cool.

It retails for $200 but the cheapest on Amazon was $216. Crutchfield had it for $200 and I've dealt with them before so I went though them. Free shipping!

What color did you get? Circle or oval?

Nice. You will probably like that lens. I think I paid 200 plus tax when i got it from wolf camera.

The fan i ordered is a 12 inch circular table fan for $120 shipped.

According to a little piece of information from the Ballantyne magazine, 485 widening will begin this spring. I can't wait until I see the tractors and dump trucks roll up in here. December 2014 completion.

So decided to get a CB for my next car which means coils transfer over and wheels transfer over. But I may be looking at different wheels maybe in 15X8 or 16X8 but not sure which.

Thanks d00d. I've never had a prime lens so it should prove interesting. I'm used to standing in one spot and zooming in with my 18-250 and with this lens, I'll have to walk up to and from things. No I'm not THAT lazy but I'm not used to it either. Should be fun

I had to step my game up since you posted your most recent pictures in your thread

I still really need to learn how to frame pictures properly. I don't take all the details into account when Im at the shoot location, only when Im back home looking them over I realize that "oh, I shouldve done x, or y". But thats the fun of it I guess, Im eager to learn more.

Im sure youll love the prime lens, I love my 50mm. It sucks for car shows though. The 12-24 is though, I have so much fun with that lens.
