Not necessarily, parts of south Charlotte have crackheads lingering down the streets, but they are pretty much harmless. Around the University area, that's where people will get robbed at gun point in broad daylight.

And LOL true, i know you guys aren't worried ab your purses.... But still, if someone went to follow you to your car to steal it and held a gun to your head to do so? Please dont say something all manly like "id hit him" bc hes already holding a gun to you. God forbid.

Just tell us where this prospective jobsite is located and I will tell you the prime locations to live in terms of avoiding our three main traffic areas. Unless you enjoy sitting in traffic lol.

Just three? Did your intense Lego building session on Saturday affect your ability to count?

And Morgan loves traffic...that's why he has a car with no power

By the way, here a few of the crappy pics I took of the house during the inspection Tuesday...obviously none of the stuff in it is mine...

Front

Back

Back yard...behind the cypresses is mine, too. You can just make out the ramp to the shed in the break in the cypresses to the right

View from front porch

Kitchen

Master bath...it just has a normal shower, but the bathroom off of the bonus room has shower with a steam thing, jets, etc. I'll probably never use it

Great room...it's actually bigger than the picture makes it look. I might have to buy some new speakers for the home theater...oh darn

Budget - Renting at first, obviously. But I dont want to spend more then $1350 a month.

Im currently in a 3br/2.5bath house. Its a bit much, but I fell in love with the garage Downsizing is fine by me, as long as my cars have space. Priorities....

I would, except I don't know yet. Its for a company that services a few different clients. I think Id be servicing one site, but I have no idea who or where that may be. The job talks are in their infancy, so I can't say Im definitely moving down. I just want to get a good idea as to where to look and where not to look.

Yeah...three.

When I study the traffic which is quite often, I notice there are always problems with these sections...

77 north of 485 up through huntersville
85 north of harris blvd
485 from 77 to providence

Yes there can be traffic on any road around here, but those three are always a problem monday through thursday.

Morgan if you end up getting this job in Charlotte, i don't think you will have a hard time finding a house with a two car garage for rent. There are a lot of houses around here.

And when i say i 'study the traffic', that means i will look at the traffic flow on my droid at random times (usually the 8oclock hour in the morning, or between 4 and 6pm). Even though I don't drive as much anymore, I still like to look at the traffic situation. haha I'm weird like that.

I'm curious to see what happens when they finish the 85 construction, and then finally the 485 widening project down south (both will be glorious for my driving situations.) GOD i can't WAIT!

My father used to live in Charlotte, I loved being down there.

Except when it "snowed" and the city shut down.

My extra sensory perceptors have always told me Mitzi and Tyler will end up in Charlotte haha. Hopefully it will be true and you guys really will come on down. I have friends from Durham that have been elsewhere that are slowly trickling to Charlotte and settling down.

We would love to be there. Mitzi is doing this whole NC Teach thing and we have no idea where she'll be teaching once she's done with the program

And Wake County is WAY worse about shutting stuff down in the winter. One time (at band camp, hehehe) my classes at Wake Tech were cancelled because they thought it was going to snow. It ended up being sunny and 50 degrees that day

I'm hoping I get tons of moneyz so I can do something new to the car. The most recent thing I've done to my car was have the wheels powdercoated and the roof vinyled which was two years ago already I'm itching to do something else.

Your car is nice the way it is.

You should just get a new lens for your camera.

Thanks Eric. Truly appreciated sir!

As much as I want a new lens, I don't use my camera as often as I should to warrant the purchase of a new lens. Supposedly Mitzi spent a lot for my birthday so I'm eager to see what she got me. Maybe it's a new lens. Maybe new sunglasses since the ocean stole them two years ago. Maybe coilovers if she's a fuggin beast. I'll update everyone tomorrow

lulz at 'if she is a fuggin beast' haha

I love it when girlfriends are good gift givers. Dorthy got me a 60mm 2.8 micro lens for my april 25th birthday and she left me open it up this past weekend lol. She said she has another one for me to open on my actual bday.

I wonder what Mitzi got you.

Gave our nephew a Toy Story pizza planet truck for his birthday and built it for him the other day..

All of those were taken with the 60mm 2.8 micro. Looking forward to spring when i can visit Duke Gardens again and capture all of the delightful flowers and bumble bees.

Nice haha. My last speeding ticket was in VA from a county browny on 81.

I went to the VA state police website in search of said explorer and cherokee versions but didn't find anything. I saw a photo of the taurus. Does it have HIDs?! Turns out a master trooper died yesterday in a shootout on 85 in Dinwiddie.
