Dang. They changed the battery in maybe 30 minutes.
Didnt check my email with the notice t was ready because the "Genius" told me it would be ready at 7:30 and not to come before then

Loving my XS Max and S4. What an upgrade from my S0. Bummed I couldn't get SS casing without LTE. Went with Silver Al instead. Works ok with the SS Link Bracelet.

Love my XS Max. Notch isn't as bad as I or many others were making it out to be 
Still wish the phone was a bit wider maybe. Videos get clipped at the top and bottom in landscape. But the OLED screen looks great.

The camera module is slightly different on the XS so Apple's official cases don't fit exactly as they should since the camera cutout is so exact. I bought 3rd-party X cases with larger cutouts and they fit my XS just fine.

I ended up getting an apple silicon case for the Xs...fits perfect, doesnt add much bulk. Maybe a little too grippy for my tastes when taking it out my pocket, but overall I like it.

It fits very well and the camera opening is perfect, but the grip is more smooth than I like; feels like it needs to be a bit more grippy. Further, the silent mode switch is too far recessed and I can't even switch it
I should have stuck with the one I usually get, the Spigen. I think I will order that.

This looks pretty cool. Magnetic slim case, they make a wireless charging magnetic car dock too.
Really liked the Apple leather cases too. Getting one half off from my buddy since he didn't want it. What color you guys getting though? I kinda like the cape cod blue.

I usually don't but if for whatever reason I crack a screen (I have only done that once) and I have to replace it, I get a screen protector.

The only issue I've had is that an expensive Belkin stand that has a magnetic charger for a Watch and a Lightning port for an iPhone no longer works correctly for the XS Max, even though it was fine with the X.
The charging system keeps starting, stopping and restarting. Bong...few seconds...bong...few seconds...bong...on and on until you give up and use another charger.
That's the only issue.
XS Max on iOS 12.1 b2.

damn you @Costco ... I found them on Kickstarter and being the sucker for KS that I am, I backed their new charger, was Looking for a watch + phone charger anyway so this is perfect! Plus a few more dollars and I can get a mag case for free

No screen protector...my X was scratch free the whole year. Same with my 7plus...
You guys with the apple leather, you dont get the "patina" which is just dirt and nastiness? I had a red one when the first came out for the 4 or 5....it got nasty and started to peel. Same with my wife, she had the saddle brown. I've was tempted by the cape cod blue or green...but not sure they won't get all mucked up.

I've only had black leather on my iPhone 6S Plus. It looked a little worn but I didn't care. There was a bit of peeling. I kinda like the patina but not crazy about it.
My silicone one started peeling after a while and when I complained at the Apple store they gave me a new one.
Hopefully it holds up better these days. Or they're just as nice about swapping.

I'm indecisive as hell, can't decide on which S4 watch. What did you guys choose, in the past even?
Leaning towards:

- No cellular (how much would I really use it?)
- Silver aluminum. SS looks pretty, but a little too flashy. I'm pretty careful. Silver would match with more bands than space gray, but I'll probably stick with an Amazon milanese loop
