Apple: iPhone News and Discussion Thread
iOS 12 is extra snappy on my iPhone 7 plus.
They say first couple days of battery life will suffer from behind the scenes indexing (whatever that means) and true battery life will show after that, hopefully improved.

1password announced that you could finally have integration directly to them from the keyboard replacing the iCloud keychain password filling so I immediately upgraded to 12.. so far so good!!! :

FINALLY!

The series 4 watch has a new type of OLED screen, a LTPO OLED that's more efficient

TL;DR: LTPO Displays might bring better battery savings(15-20%) over the current LTPS-TFT backplanes. Who knows, we might even see them in iPhones soon.

Hmmm not sure if this is right. So I updated my old iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 12.
when I tried to access my Apple ID on my 6 Plus, the 2FA pop up asking for me to approve the access showed up my iPhone 6 Plus as well as my other Apple devices.
when I clicked "allow" then I got the 6 digit pin again on the iPhone 6 Plus.
isn't it supposed to send those pop ups to a different trusted device? Not the device that's trying to access my account??

It verified that you had the ID code, and it verified that you were in possession of devices associated with your Apple ID.
What else do you want it to do? What was your expectation, exactly?
Authorize an Android device for your Apple iCloud account. That's interesting, too. :-)

Probably because it's an upgrade and not an initial setup. It still considers your phone a trusted device after the upgrade, I agree it doesn't make sense but I'm not sure it's a real security issue in this situation. When my new phone arrives on Friday, I won't get the alert on the new phone, it'll go to any or my other devices
