I like iOS 12. With the things that everybody has to do, it can appear to be quite a bit zippier. Just little everyday things like how quickly the keyboard shows up, that kind of thing.
However, I'd still hold out if you are inexperienced with beta testing and you intend to use iOS 12 on a mission critical device. There are still some application incompatibilities that have not been addressed by the developers. :-)

If you like to link quickly to your Facebook page, it's a lot easier with the application. The application is a little easier to use, too.
A little easier, not much.
Those are the only two real handicaps I've found, but I admit I have gone back to the application just to be able to link quickly.

Yup. Maybe that fixes your battery issue
Don't know how battery life is with 11.4.1 yet. What I do know is that opening apps felt slower than before right after the update. I noticed it when phone shut down, rebooted, and I opened a few apps after update finished.
Rebooted phone a couple times and speeds seem to be back to normal. So if anyone notices phone running slowly, try rebooting a few times.

Does anyone know if any commonly encountered cell phones larger than the iPhone8+?
I am looking for a protective enclosure to carry various cell phones, and the Pelican Micro 1040 will fit an iPhone 8+ which I think is one of the larger mobile phones, but I want to make sure I am not forgetting about something that won't...

Thanks guys. Looks like the pelican cases get really big if I try to go any larger, so I may just have to settle with the 1040.

Otter box and pelican are probably the two biggest cases available.

Your Geekbench multicore score can get up to 11,000 for some people.
But the main thing is that just in everyday use, the iPhone X feels quicker when using iOS 12.
Anyone know when the iPhone "SE2" suppose to come out? They seem to be out of stock. Went to three stores this weekend. Any news on when the next SE will come out?
Any new info other than possible Fall of 2018?

Doesn't even make sense to replace a 4" iPhone with a 6.1" iPhone
unless its the same physical size as the SE.. But likely not.

No.
However, the rumors for the price of the 6.1" IPS iPhone are quite low. It sounds like they really tried to keep a good price.
Unfortunately, the OLED iPhones will be released first, and the IPS/LCD iPhone could very well be two months later.

I always wondered who bought the 5C.
Do you have time to tell us what's attractive about it?

I just think a "plastic" body phone would do better with kids.
Prior to the SE, my son was using a ZTE brand phone. Used and abused with no external case. It still works great. No damage.

I had a 5C as a work phone because it was free. Plastic body didn't make any difference. The screen still cracked the same when I dropped it in a parking lot.

Rumors about an SE replacement have surfaced again. Probably not the same size, but maybe the internals of the 7 in a cheaper shell. Maybe it's really a replacement for the 7 and not a replacement for the SE.
If this is true, we have a total of four new iPhones we'll hear about in September.

People are getting this information from examining XCODE . They could be way off base, and the referenced mystery iPhone could very well be a cheap product sold in Asia.
In XCODE, it is referenced as the iPhone 9,7.
This is in addition to the previously discovered iPhone 11,1 - 11,3 - 11,5 that everybody knows about.

I havent seen anything on macrumors regarding any kind of new SE. All I saw was a possible delay.manufacturing issues with the 6.1" LCD model.
Macrumors is pretty spot on, so I put much of anything in to other rumors until it shows up on there. And it might but not at the moment.
