Going back on topic, so Jeff at TOV looked into the Motor Trend's Best Driver's Car Test, specifically the NSX issue.

Seems like it doesn't have much to do with the car in some sort of drift mode.

Apparently, Motor Trend had the NSX for a while. When they got to the Best Driver's Car Test at Laguna Seca and found the car to be so tail happy, Acura engineers checked and found the rear alignment to be way off. Right now he's trying to find out from MotorTrend to see if there was a re-run.
If true, its good to know there is such good quality control on a limited production near 200k car I could see this coming from Ford or Chevy

I'd imagine we won't see that from many manufacturers unless it hit a curb, pot hole, or something.

So GTR is faster than NSX and NSX is faster than Aventador, then GTR must be faster than Aventador?

I am ok with that.

Faster than an Aventador in a straight line, yet still slower than a Mustang around a road course

Mustangs can't even avoid crowds!

that was done at higher elevation of Colorado or utah. NSX is much versatile . Just look at its review on Australian magazine. It's a real technology. I have no doubt at real high speeds of above 150mph it can beat anything .

Once again, you're an idiot. Naturally aspirated engines are impacted by elevation. Forced induction engines do not suffer the same fate.

that's why I said NSX is more versatile in different driving conditions and mid range performance in various gears is at the top. I will like to see race in rain and snow.

You *JUST* whined about the higher elevation in Colorado being a detriment to the NSX. I told you that you're wrong. You then move the goal posts again. What the hell do you mean the NSX is more versatile? That makes no sense. It's a super car. SUVs are supposed to be versatile, not super cars. They drive fast. They always drive fast. All super cars drive fast. Stop talking bullshit. Who the fuck drives their super car in the snow? Jesus Christ, you've watched one too many Top Gear episodes.

"Mid range performance in various gears is at the top".. Dafuq??!

So the performance that should occur at the middle of the rpm band, is occurring at the top of the rpm band? So you're saying you're beloved Acura sucks?

^ so basically Nissan has decided to go backwards in performance for the 2017 GTR to make it more "livable"

At this point, i am more interested in finding out more on the R36 than the decade old R35.

Since you like to flip flop and cherry pick, Ill race you in the NSX with my Explorer in the snow. We can race up hill, down hill, off road, on road, below sea level, or in the mountains, ill let you decide. You can keep your Trofeo Rs on and ill Have my Blizzaks on. Ill call the tow truck for you.

We all know that's not a fair race, the Exploder has far superior ground clearance & more inclement weather capable mirrors.

^ You will be surprised what NSX can do with upgraded tires. It grabs the road like Trump grabs the P***Y on dry pavement.

Yeah, both cars kind of took it on the chin. With respect to the NSX, the phrase "damning with faint praise" comes to mind.

Got to see one in the flesh for the first time.
Got to touch one for the first time.
Got to sit in one for the first time.
Got to hear the engine fire up for the first time.

Damning with faint praise does not come first and foremost to this enthusiast's mind.

But we'll see...

Just sayin... The car has what some may refer to as "road presence", IMHO. Can't wait to actually pilot one.

I think almost every "super" car right now got that "road Presence" including GTR.. which does not even have the super car shape.

NSX looks way more special than the GTR. Any 9yo can tell you that. Does it have better aero, clearance, side mirrors, tires. Well that's another story.
