No worries from me... No doubt in my mind the underwhelming proof this mod is going to demonstrate. Al's 09 plenum has more potential.

Just cause it bolts on don't mena it's gonna do good things.

So we have multiple people buying this stuff/mod, and we don't even know if there is anything gained?

M8x105 Flange bolt, not Hex Head. I'd be interested to see if you could find it for under $6 a bolt. This part is on nationwide back order thru acura, and ive done plenty of google searching and making phone calls to grainger, fastenal, etc... thx bud. For now, I've settled on some hex heads i found locally.

Yes, its all seen as the same part # by both Honda and Acura alike. I checked with multiple Honda/Acura dealers, and its out of stock at every dealer I've tried as well as in Honda/Acura warehouses nationwide.

Im good to go, and have parts that will work....but I'd just hate to the next person that wants to get the bolts they need and cant.

AWD dynos are all bad news. we dyno'd my friends AWD 996tt, and it made such low power we though the engine was all fucked up. then realized that the rollers were spinning at such different speeds, it was completely ruining the dyno. its mainly because most AWD cars have atleast 60% of the power going to the rear wheels. we dyno'd it with the front drive shaft out and it did amazing numbers

I ordered 3...& only 1 came in...lol

I used that 1 bolt to match up with a couple from LOWES....Luckly i found the ONLY 6 bolt left that was pretty much identical for only $0.92 each...

Nice. Excellent.
Did you run a P2R gasket as well? Or did you use the OEM?
Did you add the hood spacers?

I ran the P2R on the bottom & the OEM on the top.

I ran hood spacers on the D/S.....the P/S have a gap w/o the spacers..so i just left it the way it is.
