thanks, did you use a thermal spacer also? what size bolts did you end up using?
and most importantly, were you happy with the results?
anyone else please feel free to provide what setup you used and results.

I didn't use the thermal spacers, but the manifold doesn't get hot like it used to.I think I used 90mm bots. I will see if I can find out.
And I am very happy with the results

The manifold will not get too hot....the spacers are used to keep the heat from radiating up to the Throttle body and your IAT sensor....

9632tl, did you use the original studs or did you use longer ones? because i am going to use the P2R thermal gasket i am getting milled 12mm off the spacer. with the thermal gasket overall size should be similar to your setup.

dammit I confused this thread with another thread....my bad....
you will feel power plateaus AFTER ~6000rpm ONLY if you are ported and polished...
If you are not ported and polished, this is a GREATTT mod....

I decided to do something with the spacer I purchased a year or two ago...
Cuts in half real easy. It was faced after cutting of course. The casting on that part is not terrific. Mine had some holes in non critical areas. I might just make one out of better metal. I mostly wanted to pop a super thick thermal spacer in there, and I didn't want to cut the hood, so it might not do that much. That's 3/16" PTFE on the bottom, nice high temp gasket material, but that piece costs more than the premade 'thermal' gaskets available.
