Days like today make the shitty 8 month long winters totally worth it. Now if only the body shop would finish my damn car so I could be out enjoying it....sigh, damn you old woman on the freeway that merged into me!! I even got her summer wheels out of the gerage and cleaned them all up today in hopes the shop would call, but they are saying next week ![Frown](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

most of honda/acura have really bad color mismatch. especially white ones can be spotted very easily. they should rather paint the whole car at once if this continues
first time for me. been spotting many 3g with aspec kits & wheels though.
spotted black tl-s with aftermarket wheels too at 99W Tigard

Goodyear F1 Silent Recall
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=721408&page=2
So I went to Discount Tires @ 185th to see if mine can be replaced too this afternoon. Its been sitting in the storage with little less than 5k miles since I have other set to burn through.
Anyways... This store manager or inventory manager whatever guy that I talked to weren't really helpful. This recall is a goodwill done by Goodyear, and not sure why he was so protective about it. Also he thinks this is a bull becuase he never heard any cases like this from customers or Goodyear.... Well... this is why its a "silent recall" and you have no other way of knowing it if you don't call Goodyear direct.
After some conversation, he finally called Goodyear but they were closed (eastern time). He says he'll call tomorrow and let me know and if he doesn't, I'll be calling Goodyear myself.

I've had a lot of problems with that Discount Tires on 185th. They definitely do sub-par work. I've had several bad beads that leaked, and they always get shit all over my wheels and don't clean it off. So annoying.

another white one for the books =) Looks good!!
and yes i will refuse to commit to be like you guys and get a white car
dont people like color anymore? or just lazy cause white is the easiest to keep clean? haha

lol, hey guys. No I got white because I just fraking love this car in white. And for the record, its not easy to keep clean. I've had to wash it every week since I've bought it. It looks dirty after 1 day. I think silver is the easiest to keep clean personally.
If they still made the TSX in Milano Red, I would have gotten red. Basque red pearl is too grandpa for me.

very nice.. judging by the pics.. and me just not noticing it but it looks like you would have an easier time makeing the headlights all clear by removing the orange reflector (same way as the 3g TL's) but maybe im wrong.. still kinda hard to tell..
i cant wait for the new v6 tsx to come out i wanna drive it to see the power difference
very clean ride

Its hard to decide what I should do with the TSX because there really aren't many parts for it, and I have an '08 Si that, when it really comes down to it, should be the car that I'm making faster/handle better.
That said, I'd like to do a rear sway bar, bigger wheels/better tires, paint the front grill, and maybe tint. I don't know about tweaking with the suspension much because my wife and I bought the TSX to be our comfortable long trip car.

only issue I find is if I am on a car community (TSX, TL, etc..) at the bottom there is "Acurazine Meets" or whatever and when you go there you get the moved threads, would be cool of there was a regional category under those main car cats...ken.... lol

haha sweet, I'm going to make a thread in this section in the next couple of weeks with the details. I'll supply the meet and probably the beer, I'll just have everyone bring sides.
I want to setup a tee time for the golfers here before hand too, but I have to see what the prices are for the country club.

You still have your Type-S Bar? Ive been thinking about trying to find one...or the 6mt bar (they may be the same, i forget) and just doing that.
I saw this last night...hood clearance would be my only worry. But apparently there is 2 inches of clearance...and this is only 1.6inch.
So engine movement may cause them to hit....but it is just plastic, and can be milled down easily.
Maybe ill give it a shot. Have to call up Speed OE Parts Concept next week

i still have my rsb but thinking to keeping them just in case rear subframe breaks again

i don't have free flowing catback so going to wait and see dyno result of others with stock system. i saw outlaw engineering's dyno graph and even with thin spacers, it gave pretty good gain of hp/tq. so i'm thinking to order the thermoblock spacers for now and swap them with oem spacers if dyno numbers are good

Damn you guys and your V6's... I didn't wait out for the V6 TSX because I refuse to drive a stupid slush box. Who knows if swapping a 6MT V6 is even feasible in this chassis. My car is slooooooooow.
I went into Speed Concept and asked if they had anything to make my car faster, and Dan and JJ just shrugged and said that it'll probably never happen. DERK
