Chris you just have to make sure your car is loud - that should be warning enough for them to get the F out of the way!

Only with the air conditioner on at idle. If I hold the RPM at about 1K while at idle there is no rattle. I imagine this could be from the RT cat being shorter than the OEM cat which could cause some pulling and at idle the vibration is just right to be audible. I really don't know, it's a grab bag with the CT header and MT and AT tranny's as everyone has a different opinion on how much rattle is annoying and/or acceptable.

Personally for the money the one piece design, quality welds, and stainless steel more than make up for the faint rattle. DC with the two piece design just leads to one more gasket that could potentially leak and I have seen the rust up pretty good.

If you're in the park for big money I haven't heard anything negative about the Mugen header

So some of you may know i raised my car up from the extremly low setup i ran for PDXmas...

Well today i finally was able to get the car in to get a alignment.

Well...the fun begins. The upper ball joint nut wont budge on the passenger side upper control arm. So that side is stuck at -.01 deg Camber, and with no tool able to get in between the fender and upper control arm to get enough tourqe on the nut i either have to.
a. Loosen the nut myself.
b. Pay 90$ a hour for them to drop the upper and lower ball joint to access the said nut.

Now either of these methods will work to get the nut off, but then im left wondering about the issue with the driver side. That sides upper ball joint nut was easily loosened, but..... The camber kit is supposedly maxed out at -.05 deg camber.

My goal is to have atleast -1deg camber on the front. I call SC asking about the specs for the kit and apparently i should be able to go as low as -3deg of camber...

Anyways...i got basically got my rears adjusted to -1.5 deg for free because i wasnt charged, but now when my steering wheel is straight i track hard right, and when its turned slightly to the left i go straight. So i need to call the place back tomorrow and have them make sure that nothing was damaged/thrown out of whack when they guy was trying to remove the bolt.

Buh...end rant...i may just end up tearing it apart myself

Cliffs:
1. Want -1deg camber front and -1.5 rear
2. Front wont adjust/maxed out
3. Need to drop control arms to fix
4. Steering wheel is no longer true.
5. Gonna have to spend time and or money to make right...
6. i want cookies.

did you get a ct header? i think ct header rattles with the ac on when gear is engaged. this applies to both the mt and at but mt people hears less than at.

mine was at and had that rattle too. so whenever car is fully stopped i popped gear in N to reduce the rattle. i rather spend little more money and go for mugen header too.

three cars tinted at alexia
98 accord coupe
03 accord coupe
05 tsx

they do great job but price increased every year or two.

my current tl was tinted at speed concept. same great job for lot less money.

btw... i don't know why aem v2 threads are popping up constantly at tl performance section and talking about low/mid range gains compared to v1... almost walked out of house to drive down to speed concept. almost..

no i have a DC header but i have a rattle when i am in drive or park and sitting at idle.. it def sounds like its comming from my cat delete area so maybe i should just straight pipe it and see if that cures it of course it will be more sound

I think ill take it somewhere else this time....or....and i mean big or....

Remove the Fenders and take it to them totally exposed. From what i can see from a quick look. shouldnt be more than 6-8 bolts. Plus i could super roll the fenders while they are off.
