i found out my hazards dont stay on during the past week while driving with chains. i would click it and it flashes but as soon as i let go it stays off... anyone else with a 3rd gen tl have this problem or even heard of it?? it's such a small thing that i dont want to take time off of work just to bring it in OR leave it with them on a saturday (which probably only takes 15 mins to fix)

odd.. maybe the switch itself is bad (tabs when pressing down broke).. you hear the clicking sound when you press down and does it click when it comes back up? kinda like click click.. or is it just click and nothing

i think it just clicks once... i was thinkin the same thing that maybe one of the tabs that lock it into place might have broke. lame... its not like i use my hazards that often so its not a huge deal but if i were to be on the side of the highway tryin to change a flat, i'd be assed out w/o hazards

Hey everyone I was wanting to find out if anyone would be able to help me install an AEM V2 intake in my 07 TL S. I would do it myself but I just don't trust my clumsy ass to do it. I have heard its pretty easy just gotta make a lil space for it. Anyone think they would be able to help me? I haven't got it yet, I was gonna order it from excelerate soon if I could find someone to help me out with the the install. I am in Albany so I could come up to Portland. Let me know if it would work for anyone. Thanks

does the V2 on the TL require relocating the IAT sensor? I did a friends RSX and it was no fun rewiring that thing with the crappy lil connectors AEM gives me, no less the extremely small amount of stock wiring to do it lol

Intakes are really easy though you should give it a shot yourself! You'd probably have fun

I'm not sure if it requires rewiring it but I think it may. I would do it myself but I just don't want to screw anything up doing it. Not sure if I trust myself doing it I guess

both the v2 and v1 doesn't require relocation. v1 have two iat sensor location but only one for the v2.

also v2 wasn't really made for the tl so it'll require some hammering

Thats why I am kinda sketch about doing it myself. I would rather have someone experienced help me do it since I don't trust myself.

I didn't have any problems - I live in the Orenco Station area, near Airport and Shute. No ice there, just about 1" of snow, slushy in my neighborhood. SE Portland had more snow in the lightly driven areas by my office.

I had the same issues last night as well. The hill leading to my place was a stream of water flowing down it. I hydroplaned atleast 10 times on a 1/2mile stretch.

You guys should see my new lake infront of my place as well. They are building a store across the street, and the basement they dug is probably full with around 10-12ft of water.

Anyone wanna go fishing off my balcony??

Its gonna happen just like back in 1996. 4th floor ftw.

So I finally got the VOLKs off today...i should be hit for driving with them in this post-snow conditions. Ive got enough gravel on the inner barrels to start a rock company.

stupid ODOT needs to get the street sweepers out in full force. Loose gravel on dry pavement is just as dangerous as snow and ice.
