man... most local roads (canyon, tv, beaverton-hills hwy, farmington,etc..) are man made off roading course right now... these rail tracks and huge bumps are much more dangerous compared driving on snow. suspension on our crv will blow out anytime soon

we went to the mall yesterday, no need for chains at all. The ruts are a bit much and the manhole covers have huge clods of snow and ice around them, but if you dodge that you're good.

ODOT has done nothing to aid the situation, I have never seen such poorly plowed roads, we'd be better off if they hadn't even bothered. On the freeways they managed to plow dividers between the lanes so you can't switch lanes even if you wanted to. Plus continuing this "chains required" nonsense is forcing the roads to get worse by creating clods of bumpy ice everywhere and 2 by chewing up clear pavement. I hope stupid ODOT has the money to repave half the city for their own stupid mistake of making chains required.

If everyone just took it easy you wouldn't need chains, we've been out without chains and never once got close to being stuck or sliding, that's even moving through 8" of snow just to get to the main road and still no issue.

It seems when there is snow in Portland common sense goes out the window and people show their true colors of being completely incompitent. In snow I suppose you can park wherever you damn well please, even if it is in the middle of the road, just stop, be sure to block as much traffic as possible, get out and walk away.

Retards......

+1 for bonus checks!!!

Great to see the snow melt, I'm in fact, excited! Can't wait for it to be done and I can get back behind the wheel of the TSX. I stare at it in the garage and get teary eyed lol

https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tsx-performance-parts-modifications-126/got-my-brakes-698097/

I would not like to ride in this car when those brakes inevitably fail. A new form of rice here, OEM quality parts, rice install.... I mean come on we are trusting our brake system to lock washers.....

Ha. guess he doesnt know that base TL and TSX share part numbers for brakes.

Hence why one TL member is running PMU BBK from a tsx on his TL

brakes are nothing to fuck with...which is why mine are held on with bubble gum and hope.

hope is the best thing to make brakes work.. i wish mine luck every day. still short cuts are not good.. great idea but for the price might as well save another 500 and get something that will save time and your life

It may just be the pictures....but the calipers look like they got beat up. Possibly off a junk yard TL that had the wheel smashed into it...

If that is the case...there is no telling what the powder coat is hiding. Heat them up over and over and the possibility of their being a small hair line fracture to fail gets higher and higher.

my thing is they are dual piston so where is the bar for the brake fluid to go to both ends? or is it internal?

hahaha i got my wii during the summur you know that week where it was like 100 + degrees everyday try doing boxing all day in a house with out AC i bout died - but it was too addicting...

oh and christmas update since i've been MIA i got a nice shiny black CAI and i'm getting my windows retinted so no more shiny reflextive halfway green bull shit windows so excited...

and i think the boy liked his full JDM recaro interior - front+rear seats+JDM door panels (whats more awesome the USDM switches could still be used so all the window lock out controls etc are still on the US driver side)

all for only $$1750$$

god id make such a good girl friend

now my bday is in march im hoping for coilovers

oh and yes ODOT sucks ASS...but we have like 26 plows and seattle only has 14 ... that should make everyone feel a lil better i guess...now if they could just keep the F-ing max running when its snow and there's ice...

oh and as a side note...didn't start the TL for over two weeks and it started beautifully this morning - yay for stock hahaha

I forgot how heavy my car is compared to the Corolla. But i missed driving it so much that me and the girl went for a drive around midnight last night. Went down passed Woodburn, and stopped at a truck stop to buy the most rediculous thing we could find. Ended up getting two shirt for 10$. Hers says "Save the boobies" and mine says "Worth every penny". Truck stop shirts ftw.
