I love how its listed as a JDM front spoiler. Maybe you could have him do a article for JDMLove.

wonder how long it'll take to repaint the wheels. i'm rarely driving in the tl so i think this is a perfect time to refinish aspec into something brighter color.

Took out the rear seat to firm up the dampening to try and avoid the slight rubbing I've been experiencing on hard bumpy turns, gave me a good chance to clean the rear seats thoroughly.

Here's something wierd, the TSX is known for steering wheel vibration with OEM brake pads, however; now that it is substantially lower all of that vibration is gone?

OEM Suspension - Steering Wheel vibration
OEM/H-Tech - Slightly less vibration
KSport - NO vibration

ah I see, very cool, get on the install yo! Out of all the mods I've done so far the pulleys made the most noticable difference on the butt dyno.

It looks uber hot dumped, now with the dampers set to "baseline" or 2 full turns off of hard I can feel just about everything on the road haha, we'll see on the drive home through the twisties tonight if it helped out with my slight rubbing issue in the front.

I was told once that rubbing = good fitment.

Sounds like its time to roll fendersssss.

With my ASPECs they are normally a +45 Offset, and im running a 5mm Spacer on the rears, making them +40mm now. And im able to run two fingers between the tire and the fender edge with a 225 series tire.
My Volks are +39mm off set, so with spacer on the rear brings that to +34mm. But with these im running a 235 series tire.

Im gonna quess ill have a finger gap in front and back between the tire and fender edge with the Volks now that they are rolled. Before rolling i wasnt able to get my finger between tire and fender edge.

ive been told the TSX cv joints cause the vibration maybe by being lower it helps with the stress in the joint making it rub even????? who knows.. i usually notive the slight vibrations around 50mph or sometimes at 80..

Oh so i forgot to mention...

I was eating at AppleBees in Tualatin last night and i look out the window and see a SSM TL coming down the road, didnt think much of it. Then i noticed it was on atleast 19'' Black w/chrome lip wheels, and then as it passed i could see it also had aftermarket exhaust.

Caught me by surprise...not so much the wheels because anyone can pick up the look at a local wheel/tire store, but the fact that it has exhaust.

Didnt look like CT, ATLP, Greddy, or any of the "normal" for the TL aftermarket systems.
It did look like the standard..."cheap" setup.

Like this, but possibly with a silencer...

I hope my car isnt becoming too cheap that people with no clue can start to buy and mod them.....

There are 4 TLs at my work now. a 04-06 WDP one Chrome MOMOs (Sounds familiar to someone on here) a CGP (i think) 08 Base, a 04-06 NBP ASPEC'd

Ive seen that 2nd Gen twice on 26. Never during the day time though. The guy always just blows by and keeps on going.

Speaking of slowing down...
I cant decide if i want to resurface my rotors when i put new pads in. I get mixed answers with each person i ask.

Got 2k on the rotors...

Also dont know if i want to replace the pads before the show and deal with cleaning brake dust...or just wait and burst everyones ear drums...

Yea i called the guy i work with at Schwabs and he said that at only 2k i may not need them done. That he wants me to bring them in and check them before i go spending money on it.

Got the same answer from JC Motors (family takes all cars there).
