this monday is great, saw a beautiful sunrise this morning, nice day, cool crisp air, new suspension lol....

I am just not a fan of a super stiff ride anymore. I just like it to handle when I need it, look good, and otherwise be smooth and enjoyable on my typical commute which is get on 26 and go straight lol

Lower car!!!!

Its really not hard at all. Ive done my own, and my brothers a couple times. If you have a flat garage its easy. Let me know if you need any help.

don't you have to adjust the shock body and not the spring perch? So I'd have to drop where the rest of the suspension meets the shock body, adjust, then reconnect? correct? Adjusting the spring perch would be the easy way to do it, but it'll mess up the ride?

Unless the Ksports for the TSX are totally different from the RSX, all you have to do is loosen the ring below spring, spin the top ring down, then tighten the two back together.

Im talking about the orange rings at the base of the springs.

Thats the same way ive adjusted mine as well.

You gonna have to to come out and show me later on today? Or am i gonna have to go paparazzi on you and go get pics for everyone else to see?

http://www.ksportusa.com/edocs/Coilo...structions.pdf

Page 4 - most can be adjusted using the lower mount. That's like mine, threaded body. The TSX coilovers are way different looking than those lol.

I can swing by on my way home for lunch today, or you can swing by on your lunch and I'll come out for a bit. Boss left already this morning so I can snag a quick few to show off :P

Either way it isnt hard to do. flat ground...jack...and a measuring tape.

haha, just afraid to lower the spring perch because that'll reduce suspension travel when I can actually adjust the lower mount and retain the same amount of suspension travel, but be lower to the ground.

Yea i just saw that lower mount feature...Not to sure how all that works.

With the weather forcasted for this week, i need to call about getting a alignment and adding some more neg camber...

I need to be lower and stop the rubbing.

Or do i just rent the roller at speed concept?

Still pretty simple to do as all you would have to do is untighten the lower mount collar and turn the shock body. To turn the shock body, you use the the top spring colar to go clockwise (lower) and the lower spring collar counter clockwise (up). Just make sure that both spring collars are tight against one another and that the the spring does not get unloaded. Should have zero load which is basically snug with the pillow mount.

ok so if I got this right:

Jack the car up

Loosen the lower mount collar

Turn the shock body by turning the top spring collar clockwise to go lower.

Tighten the lower mount collar

Enjoy being lower

Right?

Thats borderline too much JDM for one car....You might need to get a license plate that is non-jdm to even it out.

Ah, sorry. From your avatar and pics I've seen on the 3rd Gen forums, yours looks like a TL-S, especially with the quad-tip exhaust. I guess you swapped the rear bumper for a TL-S one and got the ATLP quads?
