Eh, id take one if it was given to me. But i dont under stand the fan boy attention it gets.
Best part about the pre-R35 Skylines is the ability to mod the living piss out of it. Go pop the hood on a new R35 and tell me where youre gonna fit bigger ANYTHING. I found it funny how Perrins R35 outside had their "Perrin Intake" in it. The intake consisted of 6in pipe with a filter. There just isnt room for anything.
With that, i enjoyed the R32 (best jdm) and the R34 that is a +$100,000 beast.
I was the guy wearing the AcuraZine shirt...
I dont know if i saw you or not, i was so burned out after the 3rd hour.
Anyways, the rears are fine, perfect fucking fitment. The fronts on the other hand....If i turn the steering wheel a 1/4 turn i can get out of my car and maybe put 20lbs of pressure on the fender and it will sit on the tire.

and since im a girl i dont know anything about modding cars haha
i see it as a lot like a 300zx ... no room for anything... nissan is good for that i guess
one of my neighbors has a white R33?? i think it is...but all in all im an acura girl - that would be why im buying a real jdm type r and not a skyline...an integras more a girls car anyways...

well anything that is acura and "JDM" would make you a honda girl, not an acura girl, again proving your "girly-ness"
As for the R35 I have to agree with Kyle, but, it is the first USDM release of the skyline and we haven't had anything that cool since the Supra so I suppose it deserves some fans. I was just a bit dissappointed in the changes they made from prototype to production, some of the visual ques could have remained and still kept the price to what Nissan considers "affordable." In today's market I assure you Nissan, anything over 40K is way out of the realm of "affordable" in the US.
Ok, so yeah, Kyle - Lunch this week?

I think i've seen that R33 near Nike before. Don't see too many of those in Oregon.
Speaking of Skylines/GT-Rs, I saw a grey one in downtown today, driving at about 45 mph and yes he got pulled over. Idiot..

How about the fact that the R35's are all tracked with GPS, and if Nissan finds that you were at a race track you have a time limit to bring it to a dealer to have a $1000 INSPECTION...no service, just a look over or your warranty will go bye bye.

actually as of 09 the TSX still has a JDM counter part.... Just your's and Kyles TL and the new gen don't have JDM counter parts (maybe the MDX and RDX too?)

its too bad the nissan jacks you over on the skyline.. i dont even think its worthe it in the long run unless people like getting F'd in the a$$ without lube..
and i think the euro-R looks different then the US TSX doesnt it? honestly havent seen one yet

Weird??

i was told by the dealerships & quite a few ppl that most of the Acura line is now available as Acura in japan and not honda - but they will also still be selling the Honda models like the EuroR that doesnt exist in the USDM...

Pics are up on my FlickR from PDXmas. Sucks my ISO was too high so i had to keep the pics small to reduce grain.
Here are a couple of my favs, you can see the rest by going to my Flickr link in sig.

Lets shoot for thursday right now. Ive got a meeting at 12 on friday so that kills that day.
Car is higher now, went with 25in in rear and 24 3/4in up front (from 23 3/4in). Not sure if its racked enough for me or not yet. Luckily i can adjust them without removing the wheels
Also, added shots from PDXmas to JDMlove photostream. Noticed you used my car for the banner as well....with the old wheels though ha

that S4 avant and VIP Q looks good.
went to skips wheels for some estimates
$150 per wheel to refinish and it'll take 5 days.
$200 per wheel to polish the face and paint the rest. this one will take the whole week.
polish/paint combo will look something like this
pretty sure polishing the aspec wheels like the ronjon version will make it look hot but maybe not worth putting in $800..

The S4 was my favorite car of the show. Talked with the owner for a good 15min or so. Custom made wheels, exhaust, interior trim, front spliter etc etc.
Had a crazy amount of little details that set it off.
Im really diggin the one on the right. Mainly for there being no lip on it, yet it still looks very very aggressive. IMO a set of ARC Magic Winglets on there would be super sleek.
