just got my CF roof spoiler; been waiting for this thing for over a year and half! just ordered the bmw betalink k1 adhesive to make sure it never comes off. so it'll hopefully be on the car in a week or 2.

out with the old in with the new. im talking about the HTC EVO 4G phone on sprint to replace my POS LG Dare on verizon.

Just picked up an EVO as my new daily to replace my current POS which is being handed down.

I've already begun placing orders to customize my EVO and to protect it from rock chips and scratches. been reading up on forums on how to tweak the electronics to gain a little extra power too

i take delivery of the EVO in about 2-3 weeks! i cant wait!!!!

nice man, I have the incredible which is kinda the same, but smaller screen and on verizon. I saw the evo at the sprint store and its awesome. It's already rooted and there's an underclock kernel that supposedly extends battery life x3.

thanks, are those screen protectors smooth? because i dont want anything remotely like the zagg invisible shield, that is orange peeled and make the touch screen not as slick.

 

Is that similar to the Zagg shields? I've had really good experiences with Zagg and they have a slightly grippy feel so that they don't slide off tables.

 

i have mixed feelings with zagg. in terms of body protection they're good (aside from dust and dirt sticking to all the edges) but they're crappy for touch screen phones because of that same grip/texture. touch screen phones need smooth, slick protectors to keep the same feel



i just bought the crystal clear screen protector from sgp and a case from amzer

 

the crystal clear is very smooth, no orange peel. Plus its not a wet app like zagg.

Just curious, why'd you switch from verizon to sprint? The droid X is just around the corner for verzion and its even BIGGER than the evo

 

cost of the plan. and verizon doesnt have any affordable family data plans.

3 lines with unlimited talk and text on verizon cost $110. Add data onto all 3 phones and thats $200 + taxes.

plus i hate the fact that they MAKE you pay at least a $10 data plan for a resonable spec'd phone because my mom doesnt NEED all the fancy stuff like me and my brother so she'd be stuck with a super dumb phone. and even with just 2 data plans its $170 +taxes.

3 lines with unlimited talk, text and data on sprint cost $150 + $10 4G for my phone is $160 - 25% discount from moms work = $120 + taxes. could have been less if i didnt get the Evo but i have to have it, lol.

 

oh and not to mention the insane deal i got through wirefly for the phones.
