I wish I got that close to. At the inaugural race we got to talk to Ron Dennis at the McLaren party--don't think that's gonna happen this year!

Some thoughts--Ohio legislators gotta get a CLUE!!! Jeebus, they have one speed limit each for cars and trucks (anything over 4 tons). So, some trucker pulls out at 55.1 mph in to left lane, stays there ohh, about 10 miles, pulls back in and the 2 mile train of cars waiting behind him finally get to pass. This is truly an idiotic setup. I thought we were never gonna get here (7 hours!!) Anyways, getting ready to eat and hit the track. Can't wait!!!

How fast Soop? I was hitting 80-90 in spots (not many). Got hit w/ laser coming into Cleveland but not pulled over. I was going 70 in a 60, never even saw him.

How could it be faster? It's 4-5 hours to Detroit depending on bridge(s) traffic and then 3.5 to Indy (my bro comes from Ann Arbor and drives fast so that ends up being 7.5-8.5 which is .5-1.5 slower. I hate those roads in Detroit! OTOH, the traffic in Ohio SUCKS BIG ONES and I don't know how or where people learn how to drive in that state.
