and just fyi 2 is a bitch.. trust me as someone who has gone down that path twice with poor results... the cheap accord kits on ebay the lens will shatter within a month.. mine made it 15 mins in the cold on the 2 set. unless you are really good at what it takes to do it (I am not, just figured it was worth a shot, now I have a cut-up ugly front bumper), stay clear

Well about 37 new cuts later and I got the endlinks and RSB on my TL! Just a warning to anyone planning on replacing their endlinks.....have a good grinder handy!! Damn bolts stripped, so off with their heads!! Haha But after a couple cloverleaves I totally recommend replacing the RSB. I have virtually no understeer now!! Oddly enough my front passenger tire is what was squealing as I went around the curves.....I'll have to look into it.

Hmm....now what to do.....still time for a couple mods before winter

Check tire pressures, you might have been rolling the tire and squealing it on the sidewall, that part doesn't offer nearly as much grip.

Other than that, the change to the geometry caused by the stiffer RSB may have started to lift that tire under extreme cornering. I have seen BMWs lift the inside front tire 4-6 inches on hard cornering.

That's kinda scary.....4-6 inches?! Don't get me wrong, it still held the corner just fine, but weird that the front inside tire is what was squealing. I don't typically take corners that hard, so I'll start with the tire pressure and go from there. Thanks Josh.

Yeah, Darryl Wrolson runs his 328 in STX and his car is fully prepped. I have seen his car lift the inside that high when either he or one of the other really fast drivers get behind the wheel. He is also the guy that smoked my all last season.

There is another guy that runs in the local series that almost rolled his car in the dry, flat, concrete because he had so much grip. There is a picture of it somewhere, if I find it I'll post it up here.

I think this winter is going to be my car year. I'm at 77k now. Think I'm going to do the plugs, all fluids, maybe take a crack at the cabin filter, and possibly a brake job (slotted rotors and all, depending on how much cash I've got at the time I do it)

What's the name of this place? I'm looking for a set of replacement headlights to take apart and clear this winter. Easier to mess with stuff when you have backups of them I might want to go check it out if you're pulling parts off an 04 TL!

The iridium plugs that XLR8 sells for apparently $11 each

I think my game plan is to buy the innovative motor mounts, RV-6 precat deletes, RV-6 resonated test pipe, and NGK plugs and do it all at once, cause the front strut bar has to be removed to do them all except the test pipe. Makes sense to take it apart one time to get it all taken care of. I'm gonna have a busy spring

Why yes.. I do actually. I've got the lenses and the old housings for them as well. You thinking of doing a headlight project and want to make a complete set without taking yours apart? Or you thinking projector fogs?

Either way - I'm not doing anything with them so if you want them, their yours.

It's kind of still for sale. If someone wanted to buy it, it's for sale. But I'm done advertising it - so for all practical purposes I've decided to keep it.

Although if I did ever decide to sell it, I would just end up buying some impractical 2 seater or convertable since it doesn't have to be my daily driver anymore.

As for the lenses, I never really thought about it. In my eyes, they are nothing special - just lenses. Heck - come and get them and I'd give them to ya. If I had to deliver, I'd probably want some beer or something. lol

But.. you all do have me wondering why all of the sudden everyone wants my lenses. I'm going to give them away to someone, and they are going to do something really cool with them. Then I'm gonna have to steal them back

Hey Glo, I'll come pick up the lenses this weekend.

Can you find out what RAM I need for my computer?

I have an AMD 64 X2 4000+ 2.1GHz sold by HP, model a1737c and I only have 1GB of RAM so it's slow as shit. I want to max this bitch out.

You will need 3 gigs of DDR2 memory. Your PC will handle 4 gigs (4x1gig). Since there are no 3 gig kits, your better off just buying all 4 new sticks and having an extra laying around the house.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231136

(Or you can just buy 3 individual sticks, but the cost savings will pretty much be none, so you might as well get all 4 matching)

Wow, so I finally did some testing with the water/meth kit today... The ambient temperature at the time of testing was 61 F.
IAT before water/meth: 133 F
IAT after water/meth: 68 F

The temp would typically drop about 5+ degrees/second until it reached its low-point.

Final thoughts: Holy crap. I'm blown away by how effective that is. As far as I'm concerned, for $400 that's a MUST HAVE for any F/I cars.

Hey Glow, we were finally able to get it to work. Had to remove the card, remove the software, and install the newest software, then the card. Then put one stick in at a time and it now works, he has 4GB RAM! This machine is transformed!
