I've got some stuff I gotta do quick before I can go anywhere else. So Josh just keep an eye on this thread, and I might come over in like an hour. So PM me Jorge's address.

Hey - I'm not positive I'm gonna go yet, but if you end up going - where do you live? I may just follow you over there if you don't mind.

And josh - if you want to PM me Jorge's address, I don't have it.

Also - so I'm not an asshat.... Takata, is it George or Jorge? I keep seeing it both ways here. I know it as Jorge, but don't know if I've ever seen it spelled by you anywhere.

So here's the deal. I'm gonna straight up tell you guys I'm too drunk right now to get up in the morning for the event. Seeing as how this is my first time drinking I really don't see me waking up. I'm gonna try to get up but don't count on me. I don't care if it costs me 20 bucks. I choose the wrong night to start. So ill try in the mornin but don't wait for me. My bad Josh.

if you're not insanely dropped riding with 3 whales, i dont think it'll be too bad. might rub a teensy bit. you can run 19x8.5 with a moderate drop just cuttin tabs.

how much they want for them ssr?

Josh, those wheels should fit. 9 is pushing it but the 55 offset is very generous. You will probably have to cut tabs, and possibly roll but maybe not even that far. Test-fit time.

Tire Rack actually recommends 8.5 width with a 48 offset, I figure that if I am going to add 125MM onto the width of the wheel, I can move them in another 7MM.

Now the hard part, convincing the wife that they are necessary...

The wheels are in California and dont come with tires, but they are MUCH better wheels than the Enkies that I was looking at previously. 16.8 pounds per corner!

Hey Jorge, per our conversation. Check out the Invisicord link below. I picked up the 16" length, total price was $17. The only 'bad' thing is with this product you can't much the radar anymore, you would have to reach and turn it down. Small price to pay, IMO.

Yeah i meant mute, my bad. Naww, i would go with the 16" version as the harness that you will have to tap in to is close to where the sunroof switch is. The excess is just right in case you need to move it around.

This weekend I probably won't be able to make any meets seeing as how its July 4th. Some friends and I drove to Wisconsin yesterday and bought a bunch of things that blow up aka fireworks that are fricken awesome. I was lighting a big bottle rocket off last night in my hand and it blew back and landed on my shirt and burnt a hole in it. It was sweet though.

Yea yea.... how about you call me when your not working. I want to see the new paint on the ride.

I could even drive the truck if I had to show up at one of the redneck roundups you all call car clubs.

j/k - I'm jealous, but until I see some shit.... I'm sticking with Josh's pinto comment

I still like the autocrossers comment, drag racing is for fast cars, autocrossing is for fast drivers.

I'd rather be a fast driver than have a fast car any day.

I posted to get feedback from the group mind about the fitment of the wheels. We'll see what they have to say about it. Dan seems to be behind it, let see if someone else can back that up.
