So the wheels I originally purchased wound up on back-order... so I found a new set and bought tires.

Essentially I purchased Vossen CV3 Replicas in 18x8 wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 225/40/18 tires.

Time to drop the car before the wheels go on and then off for the exhaust work and rear paint.

I plan on popping the center caps off and finding a replacement that doesn't look so cheap.. haha.

I also purchased a set of eibach pro-kit springs tonight. I like the look of the H&R springs, but after seeing how low they settle and living in a region that has crappy streets due to snow and hot summers, I will settle with the 1/4" higher. I plan to pick up a set of Koni Yellow struts by the end of the summer once I get my bonus in July.

So all I have let to really pick up is Lug Nuts and I keep going back and forth on what type to get.

Thank you haha, I hope so. I was iffy on the wheels but saw a Lexus Is250 with similar setup and know they will look alright.

Any suggestions on lug nuts? Should I just go silver polished or pop some color? I thought about polishing the calipers and clearing them at the body hop, but I hate bleeding brakes. For me it seems once they are loose the pedal is never the same.

 

I need to start getting up on my mod game too! Flashpro is coming before everything else.

 

On a side note, someone dented my gfs car...and pretty badly at the rear bumper.

 

My wife had to take my car to work today... I about cried when she backed out of the driveway straight. The sound of the front end crunching on the curb made me want to scream out the window for her to get out of my car haha.

 

did she ruin it or was it the front air dam that got scraped? I don't want to marry my gf cause I'm worried about the costs associated with her poor driving / lack of respect for expensive items.

 

The front bumper is scraped, but it's so low underneath that you can't see it. I will wet sand the scrape out and touch up what I can.

 

my front bumper got knicked recently. Not taking pics of my car from that angle until I fix it.

 

I only noticed mine when I was changing the fog light bulbs. You would honestly have to put the camera on the ground in order to have it show in pictures.

 

I'm going to get my bumper resprayed....going to be nice because there was some scuffs from high speed runs :-p

 

Why wouldnt you just project the entire image onto a blank wall and play on that? Some of those scenes the tv is really distracting between whats going on on the wall vs tv.

I see ilx's all over now....need a new car, lol jk. But I do really see them all over.

 

I hardly see any. I've seen under 5 since the ilx debuted. It was the same with the 2g tsx when I got mine, only now am I starting to see more and more. Doesn't seem like Texas is that into Acuras.

 

Whaaat, I see TLs, TSXs, RDXs, RSXs, CLs, ILXs, Legends and more rarely MDXs EVERY DAY. Your side of Texas must not be into it.. It could help that an Acura dealer isn't far from my house but I see them by where I work constantly. (Westlake and Southlake)

 

Well I do see quite a bit of 3g TL's. 2g TSX second, with MDX not far behind. But ILX is pretty rare for me to see.

Dallas is all about the 3 series and is250.

 

I've only seen 3 since they came out. I see the above white one a few times a week on my way to work.

 

Not a fan of the bimmer. IMO, c rules, 3 drools.

 

DFW is all about status.. 3&5 series BMWs run these streets.
