I want to see it. I know it's going to be cheesy but I enjoyed the first one. I think I am going to wait on it to release on DVD though since Iron Man and Great Gatsby are so soon.

Great Gatsby is going to be lady-friendly.. it's a drama, love story, kinda thriller/mystery.. It's just going to be an awesome movie in generall + Leonardo DeCaprio goes hard in the paint!

Yep.. for me too.

 

Not to be a fanboy, but I don't recall a movie where he's been terrible in his role, yet, despite that, people seem to negatively judge him and his acting prowess.

Got promoted though this week which is nice. Not sure how excited I am to be on Salary now, but I suppose it could be worse.

Wednesday night, I have slotted time to take the headlights off my car. I will be removing the amber reflector from the sides as I have done many times over. I made 3 sets of retrofit headlights for the Cobalt when I had it. Now the ILX came with projectors so I won't need to, but I have the experience cracking headlights open .

The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper is pretty good. Same director of Drive which is probably one of my favorite movies along with the soundtrack. Iron Man III comes out this week!!! Plus I'm looking forward to Purge and You're Next in the summer.

 

Post the trailers to these. I haven't heard of purge. who's in it?

 

Purge has Ethan Hawke, it looks like a ramped up "Strangers" which is one of my favorite horror/thrillers EVA! Ethan Hawke is good and the concept is cool so I'll watch it!

The next Hunger Games looks dope too. Haven't heard of you're next.

on a separate note, the tsx guys have begun custom building turbo kits for their car. I wonder if anyone in our community is going to turbo their ilx.

 

I think it's going to be a while before modding the ILX becomes a big enough fad. Usually it's used car buyers, or others that first prove it's a good car to mod.

If all goes well and generates hype with the superchargers I dont see why not. Hell.. maybe the PRL and Full-Race kits will work as is. never know with somethings til you try'm. But that's probably talk for the modding thread.

I just fixed this problem. There is a switch inside the glove compartment where you can switch the push button trunk release to on/off position. lol

I think my TL has a similar switch, since the glovebox can be locked & the trunk release is an electric button.

 

Saw a white base ILX when we were leaving dinner last night, pointed it out to my wife. Her words: "Oh, I really like that, especially in white."

So, glad she'll like my new car when we get there. Told her we could get her one too. "No, I want an SUV", maybe I can talk her into an RDX Tech.

 

The RDX is pretty dope. If I were at a stage in my life where the extra space benefited me I would definitely go for one. It's pretty much the interior parts of the ILX and then more space. I like it.

 

I'm not a fan of how the new rdx drives over the first gen. But, it's otherwise a sharp car.

 

Have you guys seen the rlx? The price tag is ridiculous!

Also has anyone seen iron man 3 yet? I'd like to get a review before I waste 10 dollars.

 

The movie awesome from what I hear...not one person had anything bad to say. I'm going to see it this Sunday.

 

Lol cool beans. As for great gatsby and Enders game... I read those books back in my freshman year of high school like 6 years ago. There both great, just hope the movie doesn't ruin them.

 

I think the RLX, like any Acura, is a fair price for what you get in consideration to the competition. I haven't drove one though.

Iron Man 3 was surprisingly good. It was really entertaining and I felt it was worth the trip out. They did more like the Batmans and focused on Tony more in this one.

 

I am really exceited for Ender's Game. Likely my favorite book, probably read it at least 20 times & the entire series maybe 5 or 6 times.
Really hoping it does a good job & they didn't ruin it. The battle room looks like they got it right from the tiny teaser that was released recently.

 

Well, IMO I think acura over prices a few thousands over the worth of the car. Sucks navigation wasn't even allowed to come in the 2.4L and they threw it in our faces with the 2014 model. I'm on the look out for the first idiot to crash their ilx to get the complete dash/nav set up lol.

That's dope, in ironman2 they didn't really focus on tony as much as I expected and it was kind of cheesy. I'm probably guna check it out today.
