1G ILX Chat, Chit, and General Info Thread
Of course he's welcome. Plus since he's a Honda so he is family.
You should plan a northeast meet for us...just saying.
Also, ILX and TSX guys are the coolest on the site...just saying.
Finally, did anyone see the reviews on the RLX...people aren't really fond of the pricing.

I am excited too that the one guy is bringing out a Lotus.. that will be cool. Haha

By ILX and TSX guys are the coolest on the site he means I AM THE COOLEST ON THIS SITE.. just saying :gheylaugh:
I havent looked into the RLX really.. just because if I am spending that kinda money it's on a 2014 Vette.. because I dont need all that space lol
i remember hosting meets back in 2006-2008 for tri-state area acuras.. those were some fun times. meets have been weak lately since I switched up to subarus and stopped posting on here for a while.
i did come back haha
i got myself the ILX! hard to leave Acura because of its value for refinement with added driving pleasure and still be able to drive them in inclement weather. can't find another ~30-50k car with a touch of quality, driving feel that comes in the proper gear box.

Don't get me wrong it does look really cool, just like the endurance racers with their dark grey grilles.. I would buy the endurance racer's grill if I could.. I just don't like the idea of plastidip on my car, it looks good at a distance but obviously doesnt hold up like a good clear coat with some wax.
I was thinking about Vinyl wrapping my grill..
Does the bumper have to come off to get the grill off? Thats what it looks like when I was looking more into it.. Not enough clearance to get to the screws on the bottom of the grill, and those engine compartment covers are annoying to pull on and off every time I want to take a look at something. Stupid new cars.

Ryan did get to drive it, he didn't stall! He seemed kind of nervous being that he hadn't driven stick in a while and I am sure driving someone you barely know's car can be a bit nerve racking. I told him to let her rip, he babied her lol!
It is based off of distance.. and I was thinking if the camera is lower (with the car obviously) and it's angled to show distance it would be off when lowered. Cause I don't think it actually detects how far stuff is it just has these little yellow lines to represent 3(ft?) each. It does not beep though.

I think you're onto something, changing the angle of the camera.
yeah, I'm always nervous and careful when some one says "sure you can drive my car!"
the day before I met you; I had the chance to drive my friends CTS-V.
I pushed the clutch in and was about to release but realized we were in a parking lot...and fort worth traffic sucks with all the construction...
needless to say; I did not get to drive the CTS-V.
oh, so my thinking of the backup sensors would not apply here.

BUT YOU DID GET TO SIT IN IT!
CTS-Vs are like the Jesus of V8 sedans..
