Can someone help me find the proper engine/transmission mounts?

Hey,

My mechanics about to take my car in for the 105k mile repairs and he told me the mounts are going as well. Told me I should replace both engine and trans mounts (all of them) . I have a 2012 3.5L . There's quite a few choices on rock auto, can someone let me know which would be the best? I've never done mount replacements before so I'm at a loss of which parts to order.

Thank you!!

Don't get the ones without vacuum lines. The rest is up to your budget.

I picked up a bunch of the Anchor mounts from RockAuto and have been pretty happy with them. I got the Anchor 9457 for the passenger side mount and the Anchor 9459 for the drivers side upper transmission mount. I purchased the Anchor 9247 for the front which does not have the vacuum line. However, I would recommend purchasing one with the vacuum line. The purpose of the vacuum line is to modulate the mount to mitigate idle vibration. I noticed that vibration during idle is worse.

I also purchased the Anchor 9463 which is the lower transmission mount but it is incorrect. Do not buy this one. It does not line up.

Oh wow, thanks for that last bit. I think the vacuum portion of the mount might be gone for me then, since the idle vibration is much worse than it was earlier this year.

I've got the two mounts you said are good ordered (9457 and 9459). Do you know which mount is the vacuum line one? It doesn't have any info on the site and I can't find online for which is the one with vacuum lines. The only other one which looks similar on that page is PIONEER 614526 which is more expensive (which I don't care about but I'm assuming more $$ = has vacuum lines)

Thanks!

Figured out the vacuum line part# and ordered all 4. They had another trans lower mount that wasn't the anchor so I got that, hope it fits. Will find out next weekend! I'm all ready for the whole 105k service.

Looks good! Good call getting the OEM stuff for the timing belt service. Are you doing it yourself or taking it somewhere to have them do it?

I'm doing the trans service myself. Got a 6pk of the oil for cheap on amazon, and the filter too. The rest of the stuff my mechanic is doing. He's one of my good friends from way back when so he doesn't really charge anything more than beer and smokes and a bit of cash. And I help him out w/ his electronics/computers so it's a good give/take relationship.

If anyone else comes to this post looking for part numbers:

Engine mounts:
ANCHOR 9457
PIONEER 614526 (W/ Vacuum line)

Trans mounts:
ANCHOR 9459 (confirmed fitment)
WESTAR EM9463 (unconfirmed yet, will update)

Yes, the mount worked great. ~40k miles on the new setup and everything is smooth!
