engine mount issue

engine mount issue

replaced my front and side engine mounts today on my 02 tl-s. somehow im still getting vibration when i put it in drive as well as during acceleration usually in 2nd gear at around 2k rpm. i connected the vacuum hose firmly to the new front mount. what else could it be?

ck rear mount- its also vac boosted

ck the cv axle bearings- those will cause vibration on accelleration- iirc the inner one causes that
but you always replace the entire assembly for ease and cost
get a NEW not rebuilt assembly if needed- try NAPA they have a known good supplier

is there a torn boot on any of those--4 to ck
that = part death

ok i ordered the rear mount. could it also be the engine mount solenoid valve that 2 hoses run to? one from the mounts and another from the back of the intake manifold

if you have vac gauges you can check that

where would i hook the gauge up to the solenoid valve or the hose that runs to the mounts?

thanks for help, i did the test with the vacuum and looks like the rear mount is not holding vacuum so ill replace it along with the solenoid. going to do a bunch of work on the car this weekend -rear engine mount, front lower ball joints, new sway bars and end links, control arms and all the bushings up front

Try not to quote posts with big/lots of pics. It just takes up space unnecessarily.
