Hi all. I am getting ready to replace my clutch, and I noticed that all of my mounts are bad. I kind of knew one was bad, just didn't realize all were. Anyway, does anyone have experience with the current aftermarket of engine and transmission mounts? Like which brands are good or bad? I've priced them out from acurapartoem.com and its over $700. Not looking to spend that much if I don't have to. That's for the engine side mount, engine front mount, engine rear mount, front trans mount, rear trans mount, and the engine damper. Thanks!

 

I am beginning to do my search for transmission mounts as well. If/when I find some information I will post it here.

 

I actually ended up buying the Innovative mounts from heel toe, the black ones. Haven't installed them yet, but for all 5 mounts it was a good amount cheaper than any Acura mounts. I was super skeptical of the other brand mounts that were so ridiculously cheap. I figured those I would replace in a year.

 

All of my mounts were shot when I purchased the car with 167k miles. I went with DEA/Marmon Ride Control mounts from RockAuto all around. There was a bit of extra vibration compared to OEM mounts and my lengthy experience with Honda's led me to hypothesize that the rear mount was the culprit. I replaced ONLY the rear mount with and OEM Acura part and the vibration was eliminated.

 

I am currently using the Innovative Motor Mounts (front and side mounts) and they seem to be holding up well. As for the transmission mounts, I haven’t been able to find the mounts for an automatic transmission from a reputable shop.
