Like the title states, has anyone ever tried installing an RL collapsible rear window shade in a 3g TL? I'm not too worried about the wiring or switches, mainly concerned about rear window size as well if it needs a new read deck or just a cutout will suffice. I figure I can use one from a newer E series that incorporates a third brake light, but would prefer an RL for button panel and so on. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

 

Cuttin is involved for the rear deck. Not sure on size but the 4G TL and RL are same size, the 3G TL is a bit smaller.
