ya i might just get a better one. I just checked the car last night and it's totally drained. I have to get my other charger on it. (car is stored not at my house). I really hope it charges because i have to take the blower off to get the battery out.

Should relocate your battery to the trunk

i'd like to do that eventually. I haven't done that much research on it to see what's involved.

all depends how professional you want it to be, i just used basic wire connecting with set screws and heat shrink to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. im still working on my set up because i might just put the battery behind the passenger seat instead of the trunk. should be done by mid-march hopefully, i've neglected my car for a while so i'll take a picture once i'm done

Anybody local near kw-Cambridge with xlr8 or atlp quads? I want to try and hear some in person.. Don't want an exhaust that's too loud, so trying to find the quieter of the two.

Not sure if we have any members over there that has an ATLP or XLR8 setup, both set up almost sound the same but there was somebody selling the ATLP quads over there last Nov- Dec through kijiji, we only have shoxy131 over here in the GTA that has the XLR8 quad set up, ATLP we use to, but if you don't want anything too loud why not do a Stage 2 or Stage 3 exhaust mod?

You're forgetting me! ATLP quads in the house!
Someone has ATLP base... who was it again?
What was Locoman using?

Too bad you weren't around, Canadian3GTL, I was living in Kitchener when I bought my ATLPs quads. One of the first people in Canada to rock 'em I believe! =] (back in 2008/9)

I forgot Tmax had ATLP-Base. Too bad ch1zo doesn't have his TL anymore either.

RANDOM THOUGHT. Whatever happened to "Dougboy"? Anyone know if he still has that TSX?

My tl has a stage 2 exhaust mod, but whoever did it butchered it. Plus I am running a type a aspec kit all around this year so I want to have quads obviously. I've been leaning towards atlp as from what I've read the xlr8 can be fairly loud, and from videos like the heeltoe comparison, the atlp quads seem to be the quietest. It's too bad no one on the area near me has that exhaust, might just have to go off video noises.

I don't really head to the gta often, and the end of March will be a bit late. I was probably going to order something this coming week. Think I'll just go with atlp quads resonated, and if I don't like them I'll sell them.. But I doubt that will happen, I could always add a different resonator or something to them anyways since I do a lot of exhaust welding at work, that would be easy for me to do.

I highly suggest getting the regular ATLP Quads. They're DELICIOUS.
Besides, you can add in the resonator after.

Lemme record a video for funnies today/night for you! I have of in-cabin on the highway. I'll try to have my phone recording from the outside.

The shop I work at would definitely be able to weld them in. You'd have to call and specify that you want them welded in, that you want the exhaust taken down to get a nice weld all the way around the pipe. And that the hangers have to be welded onto the new mufflers. So you would be looking at time to drop the exhaust at the cat, cut out old mufflers, fit and tack in new mufflers and hangers, bring the exhaust back down to weld it nicely, put it back up, and fit and tack the tips on, bing it back down and weld the tips nicely. Then put it back up, with a new gasket at the cat.

At least that's how I would do it so it's done right.

If you want pricing on having that done, let me know via pm and I'll get you a quote for me to do that for you.

Been wanting to do the puddle light mod for a while now.

Just debating on two types of puddle lights: Side mirror, or "Brabus" style.

Both would be a breeze for me to wire up since I already have the wires for my footwell lighting from the dome supervision wire.
Cutting into the side mirror or sideskirts would take the longest time.

Side mirror: OEM on newer cars.

Brabus style:

OR whole LED strip underneath sideskirt (Brabus style without individual LED dots).

Can I get some votes?

I was telling John (ebelp) that I do not like the puddle lights....the only thing which is nice is, am sure its not on while driving, would look right from Fast and the Furious

However the option 1 is very very subtle and will look awesome well done well....

Option 2 is as far as I would go with the puddle lights...

+1 for Side mirror lights.

I agree - very subtle and looks OEM and classy.

the side mirror lights get my vote, the other styles both remind me too much of neon lights like the fast and the furious

The solid whole LED strip gets my vote as long as it's clean white and only is on for locking/unlocking the car. I might even consider doing it myself.

I think it'd only be fast & furious style if you did blue/green/pink/purple/etc.

Just took a video of my ATLPs with my phone duct-taped to the rear bumper. But cheap dollar store duct tape left residue all over my phone AND for some reason my phone didn't wanna record after driving around for 15 minutes. OOPS.

My phone has an overly sensitive screen, you can use it with a fork =p
My bumper must've turned off the recording since I taped the screen-side to the bumper. The only thing it recorded was me taping my phone to my bumper
