Had time to inspect my hood and finally got it open, thank freaking goodness!
And luckily for me the cable wasn't damaged (sort of). I guess the cable somehow got a little extended, so the contact points don't meet---thus not pulling on the latch.

Battery was completely drained, I used my battery booster to try to charge and crank it--but it just drained all the battery each crank.
Ended up using my buddy's Civic to charge the battery for half an hour... which surprisingly didn't start up my car. 15 minutes later, plugged in a freshly-charged-battery-booster and car is all up and running again. Thank goodness!
Now I need to address all my burnt bulbs and ballasts.

Looks like one of my turn signals is out, custom projector fog/drl bulb out, driver side ballast out and burned driver rear-LED board. Thankfully I have replacement parts for the ballast and LED board. Guess I'll need a new H3 bulb and turn signal.

I got some 1157 amber bulbs If ur interested, or 7443 type 1 switchbacks that I won't need once my 1157 type2 switchbacks arrive. Also got Nokya used hyper yellow 9005 drl bulbs that I'm not feeling anymore. And 9006 6000k hid bulbs only that I won't need anymore also.

Bored today so I decided to install my types headlights and convert my turn signal harness to 2008 1157 socket for a perfect fit to the headlight.i took pics of the whole process of how I mounted the 05 ballast to fit the 08 headlight, becuz 07-08 ballast r smaller. mite make that into a new thread since I couldn't find a DIY myself...

Nice work!

There's already a DIY for the turn signal conversion, but definitely post pics of how you mounted the ballasts.

Just FYI, the 06 had the slimmer ballasts also

Thanks! But I got the side marker issue ready to be taken care of too.
My DRLs got converted to H3s as I put in Subaru Legacy Foglight Projectors in there.

ALTHOUGh the crack is fixable. But it makes for a good winter-bumper!

Good looking rims, I personally prefer the ones without the secondary holes though but still awesome rims nonetheless

Won't be slamming it when I upgrade suspension so I should be good with a roll and a bit of negative camber.

Fronts are going to be +33, so plenty of room

Took off my jpipe today, heard a leak and the flanges on the jpipe had shitty welding. The shop welded it abit more to help support it. Check out 10fintec in thornhill theyre a reall great shop, great service and good quality work and for cheap. The flex pipe on it was also starting to give out, i kinda regret getting the xlr8s

^ I know the feeling of regretting certain mods, on the upside you have the best sounding type S out of all of us.

What you gonna do about the situation?

Got him to take off the jpip, clean the gaskets etc. he did more than i asked cause he was concerned about it snapping off at anytime so that was great, gave him abit extra. Conpanies like xlr8 have shitty ass welding jobs, they welded on the inside of the flange which makes it worse

Did you try to use it via the cigarette lighter?
or did you hook it up to the battery? It MIGHT work via direct connection... but the coleman's one doesn't output enough to trickle charge via the 12v cigarette lighter

It should be fine with just a roll on the rear, I don't think you'll need a camber kit (unless you want more camber just for the look).

i used the lighter. the one i got was the smaller cheap one and it's not supposed to go outside. I should have used the direct connection from the beggining....i was sceptical about the lighter. i have a proper electrical charger, so i'll get it back up and running. Oh i can't wait for summer.

mine was a little over a foot long. I left the panel on my roof to maximize the light. It did nothing via cigarette socket. Again, I think it needs to output at a higher strength to work properly.
did you get your car back up? I'm assuming so.
