Got my hood in, pictures are not the best. Tight spot and the clear coat is so fresh it's really mirror-ish.. now just waiting on my bumper and then i'll be waiting on winter to finish!

Makes me want a vented CF hood for the TL...

And I tried using the maintainer to try to trickle charge my battery, left it plugged in all day while the sun was out.... Instead it just killed off any remaining battery I had left.

It says it won't overcharge or drain your battery.

Hood looks mean!

Got my iJDMToy DRL LED harness, and JLC Lighting 30W 9005 bulbs.

Sorry, no night time head on shots. The bulbs are blindingly bright and produce glare on my iPhone camera.

Keep us posted on how the harness holds up GP. Heard some members had some problems with it, that's why I'm hesitant on buying it right now.

Looks good though

Thanks =]

I heard some problems with the harness and it's usually just a relay that went bad because moisture got inside and corroded it.

I electric taped every connection and the relay to prevent the moisture problem.

Then again, it's just a simple harness of wires, a couple resistors, and a relay.
Heck, I could make my own harness lol

Type S headlights are great looking as they are, I just want to get some ZKW lens installed. I think I'll contact Wojo when the weather warms up.

Any 6MT'ers here do the slave cylinder check valve delete mod? Been searching the forums I don't know where the clutch slave cylinder is located so I can remove it.

@GP or anyone that has any knowledge, would u recommend those Cree leds for the fogs? Maybe even a higher wattage up say 50w or 80w? As a replacement for HIDs?

pearl, where are you getting your front bumper from?

I'm starting to loathe the darthvader front lip on my car. I want to get a fresh type s bumper and do a 07/08 base a spec lip.

Are you going for pure aesthetics? No LED will be able to replace the usable light you get from HIDs. The LEDs might look bright head on, but the light will barely show on the ground. When I had mine at least, I couldn't even tell they were on sitting in the car, unless I was looking at the reflection of a car infront of me.

The brightest LEDs for your fogs cost over $100, and still won't beat the output from an HID.
