What game(s) are you playing right now...?
Stardust Galaxy Warriors is pretty fun if you enjoy those bullet-hell type shootem' side-scrollers. Just finished it...I guess one thing that's good about being home and sick as a dog is playing some games.
Bought this. I texted my buddy that lives in Cali. (we always played Halo 2 together online) Turns out he has it and plays it very regularly. Excited.
Sadly not enough fighting baddies in this one IMO. Mostly rock climbing with holy shit 4k views.Awesome man enjoy!

Hopefully a One owner can chime in.
You can just use AA batteries if you want. I use the plug n play on both my controllers. Is it worth it? Maybe in the long run.
Finished Dishonored 2. Loved it. Probably gonna replay it in a few months.
Playing Deus Ex Human Revolution. Enjoying this as well.
Both games I got on launch. Both games I attempted stealth runs and really didnt enjoy the challenge so I put both down. Picking up both again and saying "fuck stealth" has me me enjoy both a whole lot more.

Put over 30 hours into Insurgency. It was on sale not long ago, for 2.50 I didn't have much to lose.
It's an FPS styled after COD:MW's "hardcore" game modes. No ammo counter, no radar, enemies die in 1-2 chest shots from most weapons. There are a variety of game modes too, from tdm to objective based.
I actually haven't even played PvP yet, heard it has a steep learning curve. I wanted something more relaxing, and the co-op mode against bots has been good fun, minus the rage. The workshop has plenty of mods too.

Something I didn't personally know until recently is you can return steam games. As long as it's less than two weeks old and you've played less then two hours, you can request a refund.
They usually approve refunds. It is discouraged to use it as a way to demo games, but still very useful just in case you're apprehensive. But as long as you aren't returning dozens of games on a regular basis, it seems fine.

Oh and I might add, Insurgency has very satisfying gunplay, which really drew me in at first. It's not a realism sim like Arma is, but I didn't want that anyway.
Guns actually have recoil, handle differently, and have realistic effects. Smoke comes out of the barrel after sustained fire. Dirt and debris gets kicked up when people shoot the ground in front of you, and there's a suppression effect which makes you think twice about peeking out to return fire, supposedly simulating what it's like to get shot at in a wartime situation.

Playing Ark Survival Evolved.
Survival game with dinos. My buddy would always get fucked with by other tribes on the PVP servers so I never cared to get involved. They started a new PVE server and I joined them. Lots of cool people and man oh man is it fucking scary trying to gather resources and build up a base and advance when suddenly a few raptors or a huge fucking T-rex comes at you from the trees.

The Final Fantasy series is on sale for iOS and Google Play. I have an Android so I think I'll get FFV since I've beaten 1, 4, and 6 (1,2,3 in US respectively) and I hear 2 and 3 in Japan was meh.
Red Alert 3
I always liked Command and Conquer. This game has proven to be the campiest Red Alert yet, love it. Jenny McCarthy and Gemma Atkinson
Thinking about picking up StarCraft remastered, anyone try it out yet? I play a lot of custom/UMS maps.
I miss RTS games in general. RIP Westwood

Anyone pick up Destiny 2? Came out today for consoles, I'm waiting for the PC release.
I actually forgot that I played the first Destiny for a moment, but I've started to get hyped again. Story was lacking in the first one. It was there, it just wasn't presented gracefully like say, the original Mass Effect trilogy was.
Even Halo was more riveting. I finished the Destiny campaign with friends but didn't do any raids
