Finished DLC for TLOU Installed and have Demon Souls ready for PS3. Started it to make sure they weren't any updates that'll take 123 hours to d/l since PS3 games were known for that. Watched the opening movie BRUH. They showed like 2 of the bosses. I hope it's as fun as Bloodborne

Played a good amount of Demon's Souls over the weekend. Good lord it's hard. Stuck at the second boss and it's def not as easy as BB so far. The controls are a little quirky since you have a shield and weight is a huge factor with armor. Plus the PS3 controller is soooo bad vs the PS4 one. I wish they'd have remastered it but I don't feeling like waiting. Plus it seems harder to farm currency. These dudes don't pay.

One last level of Demon's Souls to go. Might get some objects I missed. Don't think I'll do a NG+. The levels are great for the time but some stupidly hard and annoying. Might move on to Dark Souls by the weekend.

Beat this Friday night so started Dark Souls over the weekend. Certainly better controls than Demon's Souls. However Dark Souls has the hardest boss and level in the entire Souls/Bloodborne series.

^I can't wait to get back on PS4. Still playing DS1 on PS3 and it's pretty amazing. Demon Souls was cool and all but Dark Souls really stepped it up. A DS1 remaster on PS4 would be epic.

I'm surprised there's no Overwatch thread here. So many positive reviews and raves and I know AZ loves their shooters. On sale for $35 too.

Overwatch is great. To excel at it though, you need to put in a lot of time to not only understand the character you're playing, but also your opponents. And it rewards you when you have a good feel for the game - the maps, abilities, tendencies...

I would highly recommend it. But I wasn't able to play it for a while, and when that happens games usually lose their luster for me.

Currently playing Killing Floor 2. The final release of the game is released today, and it's on PC and PS4. Blood and guts galore if you like a Left 4 Dead-esque horde shooter. You have different classes like in Team Fortress 2 - ten of them to be exact. Sniper class, demolition, melee, shotgunner, etc.

Demo of their game engine showcasing gibs

Nice, KF2 looks good, I might pick that up soon. I played a ton of KF1 I got rank 6 in 4/6 classes I think.

I just picked up an HTC Vive, currently playing a ton of Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally on my racing rig. (I have Project Cars as well but it runs like crap on the Vive. the Kart racing is fun though)

Enjoying random room scale titles as well. Just downloaded the new Google Earth VR app for the Vive last night and its pretty damn cool.

Yeah I hear it's like a RPG shooter. I'm digging action RPG as I've been on the Dark Souls/Bloodborne series and want to eventually check out the Witcher 3 which seems to be pretty good.

NBA2K16 (PS4): Still playing franchise mode and I will not buy 2K17

Uncharted 4: got a real good deal on it used so I couldn't pass it up.

Overwatch (PC); Just bought it last week since it dropped down to $34.99 and I had an expiring $25 BB card: extremely addictive game.

Dishonored 2 (PS4): Bought it last week as well on sale, but I haven't opened it yet.

Tropico 4, since it was cheap and I've read that it's better than Tropico 5. Basically Sim City with dictatorial tendencies. You can be benevolent or malevolent.

Pokemon Sun

It's actually a lot different from the previous games. A lot more engaging, and a different feel to it. I think the Pokemon Go hyped sucked me back in

Not criticizing you at all, it's just funny that your post reminded me of this.

Perfectly fine for them to play, these little descriptions won't even be a blip on their radar. Still pretty PG

Some pretty dark descriptions. They should be fine, they've seen me play Bloodborne and that's pretty gory.

I got a Wiimote for Christmas, so I'm checking out some back catalog of Wii games I downloaded a demo for a Final Fantasy game where you're building towerz n shit. Pretty fun game and it's only $10 so I *might* wind up getting it. Has the Nintendo network ever been hacked? I'd hate to give them my CC info and have it wind up with the same fate as my PS3...

One of my favorite games of all time! I've never been a huge RPG fan, unless it's an action RPG like Mass Effect, but CT is still super nostalgic for me.

Secret of Mana was great! I love that game. I miss getting a multi-tap set up for the SNES and play 3 player co-op. You can't get that anymore

Do they still make Rock Band games? Maybe they did the noble thing and released ONE game, then supplied a litany of new songs

Also got a copy of Super Mario Galaxy. Lots of fun

Yeah Rock Band 4. Then after a year released a rebadged version called Rock Band Rivals which is essentially the same thing but they added some story mode BS and allowed online multiplayer.

Has anyone else tried out the open beta for Ghost Recon Wildlands? Was on the fence about buying it until I tried out the beta, definitely recommend. Graphics aren't cutting edge, but good game play.

Just picked up Horizon: Zero Dawn. Could not escape the comparisons to Monster Hunter's combat.

Hopefully Horizon is a little more fun in single player, with a more fleshed out story and crafting system
