Well I don't have a blueray player right now but I also don't have surround sound either. I have an Xbox360 for the gaming that I do but I assume you mean for other types of games that are only on PS3 as well.

Sure, it will diminish it somewhat...But, heck, I don't even have a true SS system. Mine is emulated through one speaker (I have one of those surround sound speaker bars by Yamaha)...

I personally thought MW2 was good. Not as good as MW but still good none the less and the online play was much better which is what is played 90% of the time anyways. I hope that BlackOps is as good too but the online play should be top notch either way.

Meh I think all these games you have to move to play are just that meh. Give me my dual joystick controller any day over doing that stuff. Now if they had a PS3 onsale for only like $249.99 for the top model minus the Move setup then maybe I would go buy one right now but it would just sit in the box anyways for now.

the game just isnt balanced online.
sure, once you get good, you can be top player everygame... but it isnt fun.
hope blackops is a little more balanced.
I grew up on Counterstrike and i liked how everything was fair.(lol, except the AWP, and the haxors.)

While Gran Turismo5 edges closer to reality, one sharp shopper saw that at least one part of Sony's own website puts the release date in December. That'd certainly comport with what Kazunori Yamauchi told us at SEMA earlier this week.
Sony appears to be ramping up the teasers, given the piece in Top Gear magazine showing off its track in the game. Over on the Sony Style page, the release date is still listed as Nov. 30, although the page may be dated. Given the series of delays GT5 has suffered so far, getting the game in the hands of its ardent fans before the end of the year would ease those unfortunate comparisons to Mr. Nukem.

MW2 is really, really fun. But yeah, when you look at it from a balance standpoint, it fucking sucks.
Machine guns are basically outclassed by assault rifles. I'm not one of those people who are like "omg quickscoping is for queens BAN IT NAO" but it is pretty lame how if you master it you can own a lot of people at any distance in quick succession. The fact that IW took so long to fix several issues and didn't fix others at all also says a lot.
Even though I almost never used it except to mess with people, taking out juggernaut and keeping stopping power was silly. The point of perks like that is to have a counter to whatever perk the other person is using. No juggernaut means sp = OP

Ken's dadIt probably will be. It looks like the assault rifles actually have noticeable recoil, sleight of hand is possible on sniper rifles (people will still "quick"scope but hopefully fewer noobs will do it) and they're taking out tactical insertions in free for all. Just one of many things. And it has zombies!!! I really hope it's everything that a successor to COD4 should be.

Anyhow, check out other genres. GOW3, MGS4, Heavy Rain as examples. Uncharted 2 was the greatest game I have ever played with mind-blowing graphics.
