We know how unreliable Game Stop but when I went to pick up my Rock Band 3 cymbals they were updating the new release sign and couldn't put up the GT5 sign since the one they had said 11/2010. Their computer says January 2011!!!!!!!!!!

Well then if they're gonna miss the holiday season they might as well work on it some more, no need to rush

I hate having to get up to turn it on or off. No remote for my monitor.
And you're getting married????

The sizzle in the Steak
Gran Turismo 5 aka Gran Turismo Forever has been delayed yet again. The racing sim was planned to release November 2, but it appears Polyphony's boss Kazunori Yamauchi has let his desire for perfection get the better of him again.
Sony says he and his team "want to make certain they are creating the perfect racing experience" -- some may recall Yamauchi saying earlier in the year he is never fully satisfied with what he creates.
The game is still planned to release in time for the holiday season -- we should have a specific date for you soon.
Update: Yamauchi has written on his Twitter page, “Apologies for the delay. It’s because time and labor were spent ironing the kinks out of [the game’s] complex system. I’m really sorry. Everyone, it’s inexcusable… Wait a little longer.” He also replied to a fan, saying he "believes" gamers won't have to wait until 2011 to get their hands on it.

This game is probably is one of two reasons why I'd own a PS3. The other being that if I'm going to spend money on a blu-ray player, may as well get a PS3 and be able to play some games while I'm at it. Right now the only game I'm interested on the PS3 is GT5. I wasn't in a rush to get a PS3 because I didn't have a TV capable of running 1080P, but now that I do, I really wanna get one, but I think I'll wait till this game comes out first.

The no-holds-barred prototype developed by Polyphony Digital and Red Bull has been revealed in the latest issue of Car magazine in the UK! As you may recall, the X1 is the answer to Kazunori Yamauchi’s question: “If you built the fastest racing car on land, one that throws aside all rules and regulations, what would that car look like, how would it perform, and how would it feel to drive?”
It’s been developed in conjunction with Formula 1’s most renowned aerodynamicist, Adrian Newey, and their star F1 driver, Sebastian Vettel. So far, we’ve only seen teaser shots, but now we get a much closer look along with some impressive specifications:
* Engine: gas turbine, 1483bhp @ 15,000RPM, 527lb ft @ 12,000RPM
* Transmission: continuously variable, rear-wheel drive
* Top Speed: 249mph
* Weight: 545kg
* Length/Width/Height: 4750/2180/980mm
* Special Features: enclosed wheels, “fan element” to increase low and medium-speed downforce (much like a vacuum cleaner)

Currently, I'm using the Netflix app on my 360 and although scrolling through videos is annoying along with another bug, it works ok.

^ And then, the world will end. So, you don't get to play it.
That's around the same time Pagani and Aston Martin announces a free-car program for anyone who wants one.

i was so bummed GT5 got delayed again, just got my setup finished.
nothing fancy, wanted to share my setup. old computer chair i had in the basement, g27, and wheelstand pro. its so much fun on prologue. ive surpassed all my records that i had playing with the controller. and thats on professional with no driving aids. its a ton of fun but frustrating at times.
the only issues with the g27 and prologue is that you cant power shift (itll miss the gear), paddle shifters dont work, and rev lights dont work on the steering wheel. i believe all of this was confirmed to be fixed on GT5

The Wheelstand Pro is nice, but $150
#1150
That was uncalled for...
Waltah, what happens if you shift without the clutch? What about when you come to a stop?
Just a few things I've wondered about the G27...

Yea, those playseats are expensive. I built my own stand about a year ago and haven't used it much. That stand isnt the greatest but it only cost me $20 in materials. I do want your stand though, its not nearly as bulky as mine.
