Man, I said to myself I'd never buy another XBOX after all the problem I've had with my Pro and Elite, but this is pretty freakin cool! My 360 is working fine now after I took it apart and fixed the DVD drive, but I'm very tempted to get this.

 

Wonder if its worth it to get the Xbox 360 now. There are some damn good Black Friday deals coming out for this console. With the Halo 4 announcement it doesn't seem like we'll see a new Xbox till at least 2013.

Ha, I know its a great system, I've owned it 3 times (all died but luckily bought form Costco so I was able to return). After #3 I went PS3 and been happy. Though I'm trading in my Wii so I'll have a bunch of credit and now I don't want to get the system again and regret it if the new system comes out real soon. I'm trying to quantify if 2013 is worth waiting for or not.

 

As a PS3 owner I'd probably go 360 because of the TV options like HBO and ESPN. Plus Live is 10x better. When Rocksmith came out Sony fucked up pricing so I had to wait a week to get a song because they only update on Tuesdays. LAME. The PS3 browser is pretty crappy and I'd really only use a browser on a TV to watch TV sites. No flash on the PS3.

Bestbuy has the 250gb holiday bundle for 200 on black friday. I'm hoping you can get this online...my xbox is dying after I thought I revived it...

Newegg also has the same holiday bundle deal. Sams club also had it live earlier today but now its OOS online. You can still get it in store though. I know the NY people will want the Newegg deal since we don't get charged tax by Newegg.

Its the 250 GB Xbox Slim bundle that comes with Halo Reach, Fable III, a controller and 3 months of Xbox Live Gold. Bought it for $199 + tax.

 

Nice. I got my bundle off of Newegg. No tax charged to NY. I know Amazon/Bestbuy/Microsoft also had that bundle for sale. Newegg and Microsoft I think would've been the only ones to not charge tax. It's arriving on Tuesday! Except I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it from work...recent accident...

 

Just ordered that from Microsoft. Now to decide how I want/should fix my Elite.
