If you're ever in Raleigh, NC let me know. I'll tell you the Electabuzz nest location. I have probably caught over 50 them. My Lapras came from an egg.
If they ever give us trading I'll gladly give you one of mine.
Nash Square. I actually stopped playing there because all I got was Electabuzz. I just checked my candy and it's at 552. I am not sure if it's still a spawn point, but for awhile that's all it had.
Gonna hit that spot up the next time I'm in town! I always drive by on the way to dinner and such but never stopped. Gets a bit sketchy at night too. thanks!
Did ya'll take part in that Thanksgiving event? I gained like 350k stardust. Currently have 7 10k eggs. Waiting for 2 more to hatch em all, expecting 9 Lapras.
Has anyone heard of the Silph Road? They are super pokemon nerds who have a great site that tracks spawn spots. Their nest atlas - https://thesilphroad.com/atlas shows frequent spawn spots for mon. One spot for Electabuzz is just about 5 miles from my work. I had to go in for a short while today and decided to stop by. I waited 3 min in the parking lot and low and behold an Electabuzz popped up and got him. Only one left is that fucking Lapras!
Looks like Honeycutt Park in Raleigh has a bunch of Electabuzzes currently.
The nests seem to be changing every few weeks and they seem to keep up pretty well. I looked today and there is a Seel nest at the park I take the kiddo to. Which I actually figured out last night when we went there and I got like 10 of them.
There is a Charmander one a little bit away and if it stops raining this weekend (and I finish my homework. gaaaah moooom!), I might need to go catch those little bastards.
I'm still a long ways from finishing the podex, and I bet they'll introduce the next 100 before I do so.
Finished my homework and mom let me take the car out to go pokemaning. I went to one park and got 11 Seels, 2 Magikarp, and a Clefairy. Next park and I got 16 Charmanders and a Dratini.
Of all those, only 1 Seel is potentially good, and one Charmander is okay. The rest are candy fodder.
Anyone get this expanded index yet? Mine shows up to 239, but my wife's is still at 150. I did see one of the baby Pokemons in a gym, so I'm thinking that might have caused the whole index to expand so that the little shadow can be shown.
Yea they recently introduced .. so far.. 7 baby pokemon. I've hatched 4 of 'em.
Also they are doing another Christmas/New Years 'event':
For a a time you'll get a one use incubator from poke stops to hatch eggs that you pick up in order to help you hatch more of the johto babies. These babies have a higher hatch rate than normal for this event.
Kanto starters and their evolutions will be showing up more often.
Lures last 60 mins during this event
Santa Chu (Pikachu with Santa hat) will be around as well.
incubator and baby Pokémon is starting from Dec.25 to Jan.3
Kanto starters is from Dec.30-Jan.8
Oh and a few days ago I FINALLY hatched a Lapras. Completed my pokedex.. just missing the regionals Kangaskhan, Farfetch'd and Mr. Mime. Yes, I'm still playing

Anybody still play this. I have to admit I do, although not nearly as much as I used to. Now I mainly like to do solo raids and the eventual egg hatch. Currently level 38.
There is still a thriving population of pretty hardcore players. It's just gotten more organized so it's not really herds of nerds mulling around. More of a strategic get in, get out and move on tactic with the gym raids which is the current game meta. Aimlessly wandering and hoping for something to pop up is pretty much over.
