damn I'm surprised to see the Honda NSX LM Road Car up there with 1005 hp. I tried modding a stock '97 NSX and could only get like 490hp out of it, with full mods.. Gotta try that LM out... If you notice, there are no other NSX's on that list... not even any of the full-fledged JGTC race cars... :odd:

 

It's only a V6. I'm amazed they can squeeze over 1000 HP out of an NSX.

 

but, they could have added like a stage 4 turbo option to the NSX's to get 1000+ hp out of them, if they REALLY wanted to... and apparently they did, with this LM road car version... that's what is :odd:...

surprised that the Viper GTS-R race car is not on the list... wonder what it's max hp is - I haven't bought one yet.

 

Mine is rated at 959hp......the Oreca GTS-R is one of my all time favorites.
this is with full engine mods and a stage 4 turbo.

 

It's too late for him now. You have to change the oil before you actually drive the car. Basically, get a car, mod it, and change its oil before it ever sees a race day. Otherwise you don't get the HP bump.

 

so I guess GTplanet ain't all it's cracked up to be... Oreca should be on that list. I have let them know....

 

not the case... it's never too late for an oil change, lol. You can do the oil change even after driving the car, you will see the bump. I've bought a used car before and taken it to a track before doing an oil change, and I see the oil change indicator on and am like - I get the oil change and the power goes up. And, you know the power goes down again and you need an oil change again after driving it for a certain number of miles...

Does the CLK-GTR just turn crappy or does it improve with ASM/suspension tuning? I ate walls like crazy in Opera Paris. God I hate that track.

 

My B-Spec driver finally broke the 7k mark. Took me more than 50 family cup races with 20+ different cars to earn just 300 pts. I think I started to hate B-Spec mode...

Yes, and it takes for ever to reach 7000 which is pretty much a perfect driver. im still in the mid 3000s

 

My driver seems to drive better lately, I guess the 7k rumor is true after all.

 

Wow I had a nice Euro stretch. With the 05 GTI and SL65 I killed like 75% of the European races since I won the CLK-DTM, CLK-GTR, M3 GTR, M3 GTR Race Car, Volvo POS, and other notable cars. I did the Silver Arrow, GTI, and M races also. The GTI only had a STage 2 turbo, RAcing I/C, Exhaust, and brakes while the SL65 was modded out. The 65 even did the convertible race in beginner. I think I've only bought like 3 or 4 cars while using my prize cars to run.

The CLK-GTR doesn't turn well. I haven't messed with it but it wasn't all that.
The M3 GTR Rae Car is simply badass. It's sort of hard to control in the Ring but the car just turns on rails. I did the Apricot no lower than 3rd gear except for that last S turn where I usually plow through the sand. This thing is a beast.
The M3 GTR has some nice power and was hanging with the Schwerald (sp) Liga B cars stock. It actually sucks turning at high speeds and has a crappy 4th but it has very nice low end.
The Golf V GTI has some decent handling for a FF car. Only problem I have is in Paris Opera when it gets to under 40mph the power just drops so I can't win that race without going Stage 3 or hitting up the drivetrain. But a very good car that allowed me to win several races.

hey now, I have slowed down my GT4 gaming in the past weeks - mainly because I haven't had as much time for it. soo... yeah. is the game still enjoyable? yes.

I am stuck with those crazy endurance races. So most of my GT4 time now have spent on the weekends only.

 

ohh im not that far into the game, im at 29.4% i just did the 24 hour n-ring endurance race w/ my stock prototype LM NSX-R race car. ive only started playing it again cause right now classes are pretty easy and i dont have to worry about midterms and finals for sometime
And its the polyphony formula GT car and wait so it comes in different colors? i was surprised when i saw it in orange too but its a nice color

right now ive finished the beginner hall, almost done w/ the professional hall (cant seem to win the last race series but will be able to now w/ the F1 car) the american hall, japanese hall and a few of the one-make races and endurance races. mission 1-10 for the mission hall, halfway done w/ the easy section for the special condition hall, and starting on the european hall

 

btw i really hate my bspec driver he has ~5000 points drives well but cant pass cars for shit.. like he'd be pulling up on someone on a straightaway drafting them and then instead of cutting left or right to pass he just rear ends them and then taps the brake and then attempts to pass... what an idiot :shakehead

i still need to get my super license, but im gonna get the wheel possibly tomorrow so ima start then
