Hmmm...I know there are a couple of video game shows on TV but they are quite lousy.

As for video game mags, I stick to EGM.
Had a subscription going with them forever until I decided that online reviews like IGN.com and Gamespot.com were just as effective and are free.

my free copy of EGM just came in yesterday...i havent read game magz for a long time.

i submitted this one drawing into EGM and won a 2 player arcade style control for Street Fighter 2 when it first came out.

Gawd, that magazine me with their famous April Fools joke on getting to "Sheng Long" in SFII...I wasted ALOT of money trying to get to him.

OMG!! i remember that! i had people telling me they saw him pop out but i never saw it. somebody told me u have to beat the game with all perfect even with M.Bison and i still couldnt fight him. i found out long long afterward that it was a joke. bitch ass.

 

No, supposedly, you had to win all your matches PERFECT up to Bison...

Then, when you face Bison, you had to draw him twice without getting hit...THEN, in Round 3, Sheng Long would appear.

I was truly trying to achieve that feat...Although, I did get alot of high scores!

February 1, 2005 - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that Gran Turismo 4 has a release date of March 9… for Europe. Maddeningly, there is still no date as of yet for North America even as the North American release was at one time going to be just a couple of weeks after the Japanese release which then got bumped back to December 28.



The European version of GT4 will feature 10 more cars. Some cars that will be included here are the new Alfa Romeo GT, the Audio Nuvolari Quattro, HPA Motorsports' modified Golf IV R32, the Auto Union V16 Type C race car, the Chaparral 2J race car and the Le Mans winning Peugeot 905. It's a good time to be in the PAL areas after all.

 

I don't care if they push it back 'till December as long as they put some online play in there.

I've got enough to do at the moment, I don't feel having GT4 would help my current goings-on. I'm in no hurry to play it.

I'm surprised the Euro version has 10 more cars... I was under the impression that all versions would have the same number of cars. That is sweet, maybe the US version will get even more cars...

Well I do agree...but this is good news...becuase most sites have the game coming out in march..and keep pushing it back, this is the first i have seen of the game moving forward.
