here is Hardhat, the map is pretty boring. also it really bugs me that there's no vertical movement i.e. ladders or anything - you would think they could have incorporated that easily into a construction area map.

also check out the folding machine gun if you haven't seen it already - pretty cool

there is an inaccuracy in that video - there are 3 types of streaks now, Assault, Support, and Specialist. You choose which type you want to use with the class. Kills DO NOT stack in the Assault type. There is a hidden 25 kill streak called Moab that works just like Nuke but it doesn't end the game - it kills the entire enemy team at once and EMP's them. (So the game *can* end, if the kills are high enough).

so the IMS is better than the Predator. IMS will give you 3-4 kills, rather easily. You have to set it in a good place, like you would a Sentry gun. But the cool thing about it is its kind of like a landmine, I mean, inconspicuous if you set it in a good stealthy area. And plus, I think a good number of people don't know what it does. Curiosity killed the cat.

 

AH-6 Overwatch is sick, its a small quick attack chopper that follows you around and guns people down near you. It can be shot down though, obviously.

I played it yesterday and I am hooked again. I also didn't like Black Ops and sold it on Ebay....the sounds were terrible (a poof for a grenade?) and I felt the gameplay was slower.

It is MW 2.5 but hey, I am addicted again like everytime they release new maps. I am also looking forward to the campaign mode. Overall - I think I don't know how much staying power this has considering the story line.....but who knows what they'll come up with next to entice you. I mean...I bought Madden all the way til 2009 before I realized that I was just paying for roster updates....so who knows how long I'll buy this for.

ie after 7 kills the killstreak counter starts over?

cause he didn't die.

not complaining I find it nice, since there are times after I get my last killstreak that I just keep racking up kills w/ no reward.

maybe it does start over - and that is what it seems like. that would be sweet! makes the game more fun to play.

 

Yup...after you get all three killstreaks, it'll automatically start over. So if you're running uav/pred/ac130, you can potentially rack up enough kills to get a pred again before you even die. No more suiciding to restart your kill streaks.

 

although, I don't see how that is adding any balance to the game, if anything that's in the interest of lopsiding a game. anyways. it's not going to change the fact that... I will be playing more after I get home.

ps. I was secretly hoping the game would suck so I would not have any desire to play it, so I could, you know, be productive.

 

so wtf, this pretty big ass box for the hardened edition to only have a tiny "field journal", call of duty elite card and pamphlet and the steelbook case....

thought there would be more goodies cause of the size.

they couldve just put it in the same packaging as MW2 hardened edition....
