This is event is literally down the block from me at the Playa Vista stages (hanger where Howard Hughes built the Spruce Goose)

Its a pretty freaking sweet set up, I always drive the back road by there to avoid traffic, its a huge outdoor set built up like a military camp. I just heard Kanye is playing the event, if that means anything to anyone.

this looks amazing! sounds like people are downplaying the release and impact of this game, from the looks of this trailer I think its gonna be a smashing hit.

it looks more detailed, darker (well I mean mood-wise) - what I mean is, it looks like its grown from the last iteration. of course will have to see what the final looks like first-hand to make further judgment.

I'm just saying it's been the same for the past modern warefares and blackops.

Just want them to change it up a tiny bit. It's getting stale to me.

Maybe actually use a new engine, the one they've been using is the same since call of duty 2, just tweaked everytime.

I do like that from the looks of it you have more gadgets you can use probably earned thou from kill streaks.

I'll still enjoy this game anyways.

Ohh and I'm sure I'll love the 4-5+ map packs

It's getting boring to me like how they had for the longest time a bunch of world war 2 based games.

Same thing new tweaks etc etc. But then mw came out made me interested in the series again

actually don't mind paying for the map packs, I don't know why people complain so much about that. I compare it to any other form of entertainment. The way I look at it... if you factor in the amount of time you play on each map pack comparing to going to a movie or renting one or whatever, it's really not a big deal.

edit: yeah, fuck WWII games... I gave that up a long time ago. I didn't even like the fact that Black Ops took place in a different time period.

agreed on the map packs. in the larger scope of things, the cost of the map packs as a ratio to the number of hours I've spent playing them tells me its one heck of a bargain to pay what an additional $30 for. MW2 is the best replay value game I've ever played in my life.

I'm not that bored yet, but if there is a mw4 and it's the same formula as mw1-3 then

And at a price of What 20 bux a map pack and with 4 of them coming out that's like buying 1-2 new full games. Not just multiplayer maps.

I don't mind paying for it, I just think it's over priced.

If you guys are worried about paying for the DLC, get the Hardened Edition (100$) of MW3, which includes one year of Elite ($50 value) and you get free DLC for the year. It's a pretty good deal, especially when they're supposed to be releasing content every month.

So I have run out of space on my Original Xbox with a whopping 20gb of space. So now I am trying to decide if I want to upgrade just the HD, buy a new 250gb one, or buy the new limited edition MW3 system which does look pretty sweet.
