360, PS3, PC: Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3
There's a Hidden 25 Kill streak in the game, called the MOAB. One person on my team just called it out and sure enough, he got it. Doesn't end the game, but I believe it kills everyone on the other team (doesn't kill friendlies).
let me try to upload the clip
whoops. didn't answer your question entirely, yohan. haha i suck at multitasking.
Game isnt cheap like MW2 is. yes, it's real easy to get killed or get kills, even without stopping power. Knifing isn't as easy as it used to be though. A few people tried knifing me, got the lunge, but didn't get the kill, as i turned the moment they attempted to knife me and killed them
Lots of close quarter combat on the maps, with everyone and their moms using the ump still. Nobody uses ghost in this game, which is awesome.

So amazon wont let me use my promo code after preordering the game.
I have to use it when it is in my shopping cart.
So I was gonna cancel and rebuy, but the hardened editions are sold out online
I guess I could get the basic version for 56-20=$36

hmmmm....very tempted. But the version I could buy here would not work in my US console. It's not worth having my wife buy it and ship it since I'll be home in ~6 weeks.
Maybe wait till Christmas.

so im not really into these games.. more into NBA NFL / sports games... but definately want to get in (counterstrike 1.6 ftw!).. you think I should get MW2 first or just jump on MW3?
I hear you.
I am a graphics junkie. so it's a big deal for me. I don't know what to do.
I think I'll probably get the PS3 version just because of how much I enjoyed MW2 on it. and, it's much nicer to chill on the couch on the TV then at the computer desk. I spend all day at work in front of 2 computers so it's nice to go home and relax on the TV. Although I do spend time on the computer at home too lol

Well, it's true for me. Probably because, while BLOPS was a lot more balanced than MW2, something just didn't feel right about it and I didn't like it that much
btw, I had not seen this article prior to my post. I swear.
and, I did not think it would be surprising. in fact, I was expecting sarcastic comments in my direction, thereof.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 expected to break sales records
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is expected to become the fastest-selling video game of all time when it goes on sale at midnight tonight, according to industry estimates.

A spokesman for the retailer Game said the title had attracted 15 per cent more pre-orders than the previous record holder, Call of Duty: Black Ops. It sold 5.7 million copies worldwide in 24 hours last year 3.7 million in Britain alone by this summer.
Stores nationwide are preparing to open overnight to cater to fans keen to start playing the next in the series at the first available opportunity.
“It’s already the most popular game we’ve ever seen, we’re expecting huge crowds,” said Neil Ashurst of Game, which is opening 574 stores at midnight for the occasion.
The game introduces several new features to the series' massively successful online multiplayer mode.
Andy Payne, chairman of UKIE, a games industry trade body said: “MW3 promises to not only be one of the biggest game launches of all time but also one of the biggest entertainment products ever made.”
“Games like MW3 have Hollywood scale budgets and production values - employing huge teams of highly skilled programmers and artists to create products that offer players unrivalled interactive entertainment.”
The game begins where Modern Warfare 2 left off, with special forces protagonists pursuing Vladimir Makarov, a Russian terrorist, in cities including London, Paris and New York.
The game has been awarded an 18 certificate from the BBFC due to its graphic violence and real-world settings.
Over the weekend it was reported that a van containing 6,000 copies of Call of Duty 3: Modern Warfare was stolen in a Paris suburb.

It was like Bad Company 2 in the Battlefield series. A good game, but not the same and not up to snuff compared to BF2 and BF3
