i looked at hardened edition, it says 4 extra co-op maps. nothing about them being for multiplayer. ??

 

all the more reason to not pick it up...

that game is 95% Online multi-player for me...

 

So I opted to "pre-order" late last night at Best Buy and it went thru ok, but it states that is it still pending store stock verification ( i guess cause I waited so long)

Can I still show up at BestBuy today after work and pick it up? or do I need to wait for them to send me a second email stating that it's ready for pickup?

 

disregard. I just got a followup email from Bestbuy saying that its ready for pickup. Schweet.

 

just got it this morning on my way to work - I figured if I go to Target there will be plenty in stock and I could escape the madness. There were still plenty in stock but there was a line of about 20 people (mostly moms, and one dad with two babies) lining up outside of a Target to buy it.

Needless to say I had to wait in line and was a little late to work but oh well - its not like I have to clock in or clock out

 

i have the game preordered but was to tired to go to the midnight release. i will get it today when i get off work at 130.

yeah, I haven't played it yet... but now that I think about it, it was stupid getting it at midnight launch (Game Stop), It was almost 2 hours worth of waiting, and by the time I got it, I was sooooo freaking hungry... on the way home, I found a all-night phở restaurant... I ate sooooo much, when I got home, I just crashed... I can't even play it right now, because I have an appraiser coming over to appraise the condo...

 

just got it at best buy..... ummm... why is it so pixelated???????? it looks horrible, like a PS2 game. please tell me its a user issue.. PLEASE. I did do the thing to adjust the screen size.

I got mine last night with my buddy and we just went over to his house to play and we both agreed the graphics were lacking.

 

Graphics seem good, but not great. I almost want to say they took a slight step down from MW2 but we'll have to see when I get the game myself (I play on a CRT mind you). How does this match compare to what you guys are seeing? Now that I think about it though, I'm kind of eager to get the game now.

I don't know if it's be cause I'm not familiar with the new maps or what, but MP is frustrating... I'm NOT feeling it (and as usual, I skipped the single player campaign). It's just weird because it's like taking place in the 60s, but in MP, there are modern weaponry
