OK I just found out about Black Ops Arcade. like old school shooter. When you get the screen where you select what type of game you want to play (Multiplayer , Zombie, 1 player) look down so you see the straps on your wrist . Then tap L1 R1 back and forth untll you break free, stand up, walk around the room until you get the option to use computer. It will pull up a old DOS type screen then Type DOA and hit enter. Sit back and now enjoy Black Ops arcade mode!

It's pretty fast and easy to prestige, really. I tend to play with my cousins and friends, so we RARELY lose. So if you play with a good party that knows what they're doing, you'll easily win and see your stats soar. Like no joke, in one day of playing, we only lose like 1, maybe 2 games tops. Rest of the losses are from people rage quitting (which counts as a loss, but doesn't ruin your win streak). Best game I ever had was a 7500-300 in Team Deathmatch. It was pure rape lol.

I prestige once every 3 days or so. I've been playing almost everyday since I don't have school till February. =P

Once I hit 15th prestige (I'm about to hit 14th prestige now lmao), school will start and I'm going to stop playing, or cut down my gaming time substantially.

Forget it im going to stop at 5, I always charge for the flag dumb teammates just sit around. Then you have the dumb camper who hides around the flag, or a claymore

But the reward is pretty amazing. Unlimited sprint.

You probably don't have the pro-perk. Most likely you completed one of the three requirements for marathon pro. I remember when I first picked up the game and I finished one of the requirements to get pro, I thought I had the pro perk because in MW2 it was automatic upgrade to pro. You have to buy the pro-perk now after you do all the requirements by going create class then under that specific perk you'll see "Upgrade to pro" or whatever.


Prestige isn't too hard to do but getting the pro perks back is a pain in the ass. For me it takes about 16hours of play time to prestige. But this game is still fun. Currently on 8th prestige with a K/D of 3.35

I've just been playing zombies on live. You can get bored with zombies, then learn something else and keep on going.

My highest lvl is 23 with 4 ppl, 22 with 3ppl and 19 alone. I'm really just enjoying the solo now.

In regular multi-player I've prestiged twice and am at lvl 31.... just got bored with it though... till I get bored of zombies.

your right would be nice running around and shooting people. Ninja pro seems to do a good job for now

I just unlocked Marathon PRO! WOOOO.. took me a while but using Ghost Pro and Tatical Insertion helped basically.. Those who are stuck find a way back to enemy flag area drop insertion and once fit take and run for your life

I don't get why they need to charge just for new maps. If they added new weapons, then I might pay for it, but not maps.

To me, maps don't really change gameplay because I can run and gun on every map there is. I can snipe on every map. I can camp on every map. I can melee on every map. Etcetera

Instead of them making new maps fix the god damn game.. Tired of the server disconnects in a middle of the game, tired of the lag and how people skip across your screen.. the unfairness in some matches 2 vs 6 in Demolition, CTF, fix the hit decection if a person charges at you before hand your going to die before firing off a shot? or if im charging at a person im shooting atleast 6 times i get hit with one and die.. kind of weak shit is that.How can my overpowered Commando get owned by some shitty last stand pistol????... game is 65 bucks, 15 for maps 80 bucks with still the same problems priceless!

Hate to beat the dead horse since I'm probably the only person that really complains about it (and it's easy for me since I don't have the game) but given the history of Activision's money-grubbing CEO.... he can go pound sand.

Yeah, you pay more for more content in the video game market. But consider that you get an entire game with what, 14 maps, the game engine, all the weapons, the entirety of the single player content, all the included multiplayer content like customizable options for your character and weapons, etc. for $60, $15 for 5 maps alone sounds like a bad deal to me.

I don't know if it's been stated already, but I bet there will be another $15 map pack a few months down the road. I'm not trying to convince anyone out of buying it, I just think they're bastards for doing it this way. Just charge $70-80 up front, include both the map packs that you're going to introduce later on at once, or include more content besides just maps. Maybe it can't fit all on one disc or whatever, or POSSIBLY (still unlikely) most of the maps aren't done by the time the game is out.... but still. You don't get any new guns, and new perks or addons or anything.

Doesn't the prestige edition get you access to these maps without paying 1200 points? I thought there was extra maps with the hardcore and prestige?

I just started back on online play with this game. I've never had such a frantic KDR in all of my online play. Going from 18-3 to 18-24 is retarded.. I need to figure out this game fast. Some kid killed me with what looked like a ricochet shot.. and another kid killed me with a knife from two buildings across while I was crouched.. stabbed me in the fucking leg. dead.

Anyways.. just checking in.

I've been playing hardcore objective games, and it's a lot of fun. You can just camp and look down an alley or something, and get ridiculous kills cause it only takes one hit to kill people. And then the Huey is also 1 hit so it just mows people down

Been playing Ascension, The new zombie map, it's quite challenging, It was like they threw in whatever idea anyone had, I've yet to get past lvl 17, with 362 kills

Must brag, I got to lvl 26 tonite on Ascension with 2 other ppl, 411 kills. There should be a video up soon, one of the people starting capturing after lvl15. So my global rank is 73,xxx out of 2.2million players.

not sure you guys talked about it but I havent played in a while and I played tonight. the software update improved the sounds of the explosions, which I think is a nice fix.

Got all the kills with mortar strike, huey, and hind just hitting their spawn the whole time. Got teamkilled a couple times but they don't count as deaths. One guy was teamkilling me because he was convinced I'm a hacker. I may upload the video of me doing it to youtube
