Finally got Ninja Pro the other day, now I'm off to the next one. I too love the crossbow! Been a personal favorite from day 1 (started off playing local split screen matches).

So, I've been sitting at level 50 for a while and beyond getting an additional custom slot what's the point of prestiging? You go right back to level 1, lose all your cool guns and attachments and do it all over again. Why?

 

Meh bragging rights,color clan name and gold guns. (only can get these at lvl 14 prestige) it does suck though. It feels really good when you hit 15 and don't ever gotta do it again. It didn't even take me that long cuz as soon as I hit 50 I would just prestige and don't even think about the consequences LOL

 

so when you prestige what do you lose?

guns and attachments? kill streaks? perks? cash?

 

ohh yea the only perk i dont have pro for is the tactical mask, dont really feel its necessary to get the pro version of that, although it would be nice since i hate flashbangs...

 

Yup you loose everything except your Rank LMAO. You basically start all over again Yay...

 

Even my cash? Damn I have like 150K...

 

yup, say bye bye to your $ if you prestige....but buy stuff for your playercard so it's not wasted, you don't lose that. It sucks but my color clan name and GOLD guns (50k for gold camo) made it worth it

 

finally got Second Chance Pro and Lightweight Pro last night! Getting that head shot while in second chance was a biyotch! And for some reason, that 10th Offense medal was a pain. The first 9 came pretty quickly but I couldn't get 10 for the life of me! Now on to Flak Jacket and I'm not sure what else.

 

I got all the pro perks... I scarificed my K/D ratio and score to get them thou.

The hardest one for me was to get 2 knife kills within 5 seconds, always kept
Getting it just after 5 seconds in FFA.

 

So how many times can you prestige? And each time I prestige I lose all me guns right?

I honestly dont think it's worth it. So I get extra custom slots, clan name in color and gold camo?

Give me something more worth it, like stronger armor or maybe be able to choose whatever perk combination I want. (ie if I wanted I could have the gas mask, ninja and hacker as all 3 of my perks)

 

I agree, which is why I haven't done it. I think I read somewhere you can Prestige 14 times. Extra custom slots would be nice, but not worth the trouble. I don't think I'd want anything like stronger armor because it would make it unfair to the newbs. They'd be slaughtered. But I do like the idea of picking 3 perks out of one pool rather one out of each of 3 pools.

 

highest prestige is 15. I guess you have bragging rights then.

Honestly, I'd just go up to the golden guns and stop.

 

Am I mistaken or did they change Hardline Pro? It doesn't let you choose what you want for the care package, just randomizes it if you get something you don't like. So let's say you get ammo, you double tap X to get another chance at a different reward.

 

That's the way its always been as far as I know. Its just a second roll, not a choice.

Honestly I think of prestiging as battle experience. And thus you should you gain advantages after prestiging so many times as say a more experienced soldier.

I think mine is like 20000/13000, about 1.53.

KDR means nada.....I have whooped dude's with 1.0-5.0+ KDR (even a hacker with 69.4) and got slaughtered by a girl clan whose highest KDR was like .79 Communication is key not just skills....your only as good as your team. So much better when you have a good squad that calls out campers, wolfpacks, etc: As I said I'm a 15 prestige, I used to be a KDR whore but it kinda ruins it for me. I'm a run and gunner so sometimes I can pull 5.0 KDR.....sometimes it doesn't work out as planned and I get under 1. All just numbers until I get you on the battlefield!! I let my gun talk...not numbers :wink: I think from playing drunk and letting my girl play mine has dropped to like .70

 

Yeah I think KDR doesn't mean a whole lot. Score per minute is actually a better tell of how productive you are. But here's my KDR. Considering I never play in a team, I think I do pretty well.



And BTW, my win/loss ratio is 2.24. Always play solo.

If the other team is organized no matter their KDR, it's a tough battle even for experienced players.


whisky tango foxtrot, .. I play solo or duo with my wife. I'm pretty sure her KDR would be > 2 and mine would be less if we didn't play duo.

yea, a zombies pack. i think its zombies only. one of the maps is on the moon.

Sounds fun, but zombies is so hard.

And I hate that you can't beat it. It's just wave after wave, non stop until you die.

 

Yup zombies only. Not buying it, I think they're probably going to come out with another Map pack halfway between now and the launch of MW3.

I bought the Moon pack, I haven't bothered getting any of the other ones. The WaW ones are really fun (I didnt get WaW) and Moon is really cool but MUCH harder then Five.

Unless they fixed the cheat/trick that one is easy. Just get on top of the desk in the start room and kill the zombies that way. Make a crawler as the last surviving zombie and run around and get ammo.

When you get to a high enough level and you start very badly running out of ammo. Just camp on the desk. The zombies eventually die off on their own. So just leave yer ps3 on all night.

Playing CTF on Grid, it's been a super close game. The flags keep getting taken one after the other, it's all tied up on the last round. We FINALLY break the stalemate and cap two flags to their one. I have 54 kills, 18 deaths, two caps, one return. I've been running the flag non stop... There's just over a minute left and the host on the other team dashboards and we all get disconnected

Bastard It would have been worth a butt load of XP too...
