I'm pretty good with picking off the snipers in the park with my M16(?) and acog scope
That or sneaking around the map and flanking the attackers
Especially when they start running into the subway area from the park, love sneaking behind them and shooting them in the back as they run in
I got 8 of them one time

Battlefield 3 offers high resolution texture pack install on PS3 and Xbox 360
Nicholas Michetti, PlayStation Examiner
October 7, 2011
EA and DICE's Battlefield 3 is an amazing looking game, no matter what platform gamers get the chance to play it on, due to the detail packed in Frostbite 2. Console owners, though, will get the option to improve the visuals of their versions of BF3 via a high-resolution texture pack install.
IGN reports DICE's Patrick Liu mentioned Battlefield 3's high-resolution texture pack install to GamerZines, specifically talking about the Xbox 360 version. Liu said that the 360 version has two discs: one disc has multiplayer, co-op, and the high-resolution texture pack install and the other disc has the single player campaign.
IGN checked with EA, who mentioned that the PS3 does also have the high-resolution texture pack install, but on the same Blu-ray disc instead of two.
However, Liu described the Xbox 360 version's install as "voluntary" and an EA representative said that "the PS3 version requires the same install..."
So, whether or not the installation is required on PS3 is unclear at this time, but at least both versions will have the option for the high-resolution texture pack.
If there are any updates, we'll keep you posted.

Yea been playing it, the only problem is that there are a lot of people that are waiting for the jets. Its annoying because Im trying to capture points and no one is helping me. But the map looks really beautiful and runs smooth too.
I felt something like that would happen. When Caspian Border servers were password protected, that was not the case. I guess the people who had obtained the password were already familiar with jets or something, because they were free all the time.
Just wait until people start placing C4 on the jets, then it will start getting fun.

The Demo/Beta was to work out bugs and test server capacity ..the final game will be different . I wouldn't make your final decision on the beta game play. They also didn't pick a very good map to use in the Beta. They should of used Caspian border and gave us the big map and a bunch of vehicles, Granted some people on PC were able to play Caspian border but I'm on Xbox . Cant wait to jump in one of those jets
all I'm saying is, if I hadn't played the demo/beta, I would have been more excited about buying this game. now, I just kind of feel like I'll wait and see what people's reactions are to the full game.

No need to worry so much, plus after a some patches the game will play just right.

I'm more of a Battlefield fan overall though.

I just built a new PC for this! I pre-ordered online and I am downloading the game now. Can't wait...the 25th needs to get here now!
