360: Halo - Reach
but i wont ever vote against playing SWAT, as there isnt a playlist specifically for it like there was in Halo 3.
so i just play it whenever it becomes available.
i also spend alot of time in Big Team Battle... more people running around in vehicles just means more vehicles for me to stick with grenades
It had its own playlist in halo but reach has bnched a lot of them up for the time being.
And phee.. Host selection is actually quite random. I have 20 down and 5-7 up on good days... I get host every 5 games or more.. And i know im smashing most peoples speed.

offline wont get you anything...
matchmaking gruntocalypse will gain you 1200-5000 credits in one 10 minute game.
You can earn credits offline by completing "commendations"
Click on your gamertag in any of the main menu's and go to "service record"... Then to commendations.. From there you can complete campaign and firefight challenges.. The matchmaking ones of course, are off limits unless you are on live
Here's an example of what they look like

Interesting, I have about 160k credits, trying to get to Captain but it is taking forever! How often does gruntocalypse come up? Or is something in score attack that always comes up?
Here is a video explanation for Gruntpocalypse for people who need it.

No i meant bc im a great teamate... I love driving and sitting back watching over peoples shoulders... This doesnt work on solo.. The AI is retarded ay driving/shooting.. And playing alone forces me to attack when im usually very tactical
ahh yes. the AI sucks at shooting. but what can you do? youll get the hang of it. just have to hang back and let the AI lead you into the battles. they often times defeat enemies if you get them one-shot and then duck away.
ill be on tonight guys. lets get some slayer in.

i will be able to buy the haunted much earlier.. and it might look pretty cool with the fire...

I played a game where someone had the celebration thing on. It makes me laugh every time. "Yayyyyy!"
same here, i'm seeing more and more now that im playing with major's and above...
i have enough credits to buy birthday party now, but im assuming it would get old really quick and be a huge waste of 200k credits...

^^ yes, and the average player would take over 3 years of regular play to achieve it
its a pretty rediculous feat considering most of us will slow down tremendously as new games come out.
most people on Bungie are guessing they will come out with a bonus system eventually or bring back Double EXP (Cr) weekends...

I liked bungie's skill system for halo3. Bad players would almost never make it to the higher ranks. Myself included.
Seems like in reach the amount of play determines your rank, with no skill needed.

that is exactly how it is.
if you play everyday, but are terrible.. you will have a higher rank than somebody who plays 2-3 days a week, but rapes everybody..
thats why everyone is pissed about the armor prices and ranking system...
the people who dont work and have no lives are rewarded in-game instead of the talented players...
it blows.

I never got into the COD games because there is no such thing as matchmaking. For someone starting out in multiplayer it can be harsh. Especially since the higher level players have better gear and weapons.
I do love my halo matchmaking, even though there is a lot of room for improvement.
