somebody bought my standard halo reach copy.. so now im going pick up the legendary!

 

Bought it last night, pretty sick so far. I just played a little bit of the campaign on legendary. Hopefully i'll have some more time to pick it up again today.

i decided to keep the flaming helmet DLC for myself even though they are selling on ebay for upwards of $100...

its fun having something thats very limited online.. its the topic of conversation on every game i play lol.



my favorite part of the game so far are the daily/weekly challenges.... this will keep many of us interested for a longer period of time. its something to conquer everytime you fire it up.!

 

Man, I was wondering what the hell that was! I've seen a few in Multiplayer!

That DLC came with the Legendary pack then? That's pretty sweet.

 

Only problem with the flaming helmet is the fact that it makes you an instant target. I don't have it myself, but I've noticed that those who have it almost always have more deaths. Games like SWAT and snipers, you just can't hide as well.

I personally wanna unlock the EVA or Pilot helmet, then black out the visor.

-remote controlled falcon for avatar
-special elite armor
-something else (i forgot)

its fun to have.. but when i go into gametypes that requre percision weapons i take it off... its kinda like a beacon lol..

its fun for big team and invasion...



this is why i wear it on larger game types...

I would but I can't honestly I'll be able to make it on at a certain time/day. Some days I got homework, others I got work and there is always the possibility I just won't wanna play that day.

I can't see it hurting though. If you guys are on a specific time, and I got nothin' to do, I'll know to get on!

 

Let's propose every Wednesday or Thursday night at 8? or is that too late? I know you guys on the east coast may have issues with it being late if you have work/school the next day.

I had the same problem man! I've tried to melee with the joystick so many times just to have a magnified view of my death!

 

Good news everyone!

Let's all try to logon at 8pm every Wednesday night so that we can get some online multiplayer games going. If we find attendance is low or it's just too hard for a majority of the people to get online on Wednesday evenings, we'll try another evening. If one day a week isn't enough, we could do a twice or three day a week thing too.

Fun playing with you guys last night even though I only had time for one game.

Which armor ability do you guys get best results with during multiplayer?

I used to always do sprint and I end up getting killed. I switched to camo, even though I hate how everyone abuses it, and I seem to be doing a lot better in terms of K/D ratios.

 

8pm Pst is perfect. I'll try to join next week. Just beat the game on Normal... can't even imagine the final levels on legendary...

 

Finished the campaign on normal. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Waiting to pair up with others to start legendary. That will be fun and challenging.

 

I beat it on heroic but didn't get the achievements

Looks like its wants me to play the 10th mission again. ugh.

 

The sprint ability is hands down the best for me... I kill, i run to cover.. Then kill. I also made it a point to know where health packs are... Nobody EVER uses them

It depends on the map, but over all I like camo the best. I love leading people down corridors, then hiding so i can assassinate them when they come around the corner.

Crouching+camo makes you pretty much invisible. You'd be surprised how close people come without noticing you. There has been multiple occasions where people have ran into me, not even noticing I'm there. If you have a hard time with camo, try to follow a teammate around and let them initiate the attack against the opponent. The opponent will be so focused on your teammate that you can normally sneak around and flank them.

8 pacific maybe too late for me guys, that's 11 EST. I got to bed at 12 and normally dedicate that last hour to reading. Video games get my heart racing too much and I won't be able to fall asleep. No biggie though, I'm on at all sorts of times so I'm sure I'll catch some of you on.

 

I joined the AZ crew...dont know if I've been accepted yet. I will be on tonight.....
