How do you import forza 3 designs to forza 4?

 

you have to group them.

so for me.. watever vinyl pieces i used to make ings+1 would have to be grouped into one.

and i think save them or something on fm3 then load them on fm4.

 

i was wondering.. what's the difference between the slim model and regular model?? i noticed there are like 250GB model vs 4GB slim model.....

 

all the new ones are slim

 

oh.. what are the differences between 4GB model and.. say 250GB models??? why such a dramatic difference in storage size?

 

4gb is built in memory. So basically no hd vs hd.


My poor 20gb launch hd seems awful small right now.

Quick question, if I were to remove the HDD on my Elite from the housing (the actual plastic surrounding the HDD), can I then swap it into the new slim model? I want to pick up a new one as mine is on its last legs but want to make transferring files as easy as possible.

 

There's a HDD transfer cable to do that. It's what I did when I upgraded to the new slim xbox.

I thought maybe if I completed all of the other races in the set, they would become unlocked, but they didn't. I can't find shit online about them either. What am I doing wrong?

Alright, to bring this thread back to life I would like to post a challenge. Whoever wins will be gifted a car from me. It won't be a shitty Ford Ka but it won't be a Zonda R either

Here are the specs about the contest:

Track: Infineon Raceway Long Course (2.52 miles)
Cars Allowed: All Class A, modded or stock. AWD, FWD, RWD are all allowed. Custom tunes are allowed.
Assists Allowed:
ABS may be on or off
Steering can be normal or simulation
Stability control must be off
Traction control must be off
Shifting must be manual or manual with clutch
Suggested line can be braking only or off
Rewind can be left on

LAPS MUST BE CLEAN! NO PENALTY LAPS WITH THE "! TRIANGLE".

Users MUST post their time and car used here in the thread. I will be verifying times online so you need to make sure you're friends with me on XBL. Posts must look (something) like this :

Gamertag, Acurazine user name, car used and it's class #, date completed, and time recorded.

For example:

CLtotheTL32, CLtotheTL32, Honda NSX-R '05 A-600, 11/22/11, 4:00.00

A list with times will be complied and should be posted each time a new time is recorded. You may post new times as you complete the contest BUT make sure you copy ALL previous times set by other members before adding your new time. We don't want people left out and their times missing.

The contest will end next Sunday, December 4, at midnight (EST). Any times posted after then will not count.



As for those of you who are wondering why I made the assists so lenient, I wanted everyone here to have a chance to win. Not everyone has all of the assists turned off all of the time so I wanted them to have a shot. Even with assists on I sometimes can't keep up with Stapler or civicdrivr so I thought this would be fair.

All comments and criticisms are welcome, I'm open to feedback. I'm hoping to have these more often and get the Acurazine community more involved with Forza.

 

Also, if you would like to use a time that you have previously earned, that is acceptable. Just make sure all of the assists requirements are met. If your time and your car fit into what was listed earlier, you may submit your time.

Not really impressed to be honest. The Suzuki and the GranTurismo will be fun, as well as the 300 S, but the rest are meh

Exactly. It would be cool if it was just the newer RX8 in place of the older one, but if you change out the MS version to the stock bumpers, it replaces them with the face lifted version...stupid error.

Don't understand any of the pickups/most of the SUV's in the game. In a game thats all about silky smooth paved track times, it seems kinda pointless to have a Raptor, thats point of existence is its astounding off roading capabilities.

I guess its more of a photomode thing.

I predict the amazing DLC will be few and far between. The games roster is so impressive to begin with, it will be hard to elaborate on it. If we see an agreement with Porsche we will see some amazing and large DLC packs, and new tracks are always welcome.

..on a side note...

WHY CANT THEY MAKE THE REPLAYS LOOK LIKE THAT!!!

I don't use any of that stuff besides the controller but I'v heard that logitech wheels are pretty nice...

I've spent time on the Fanatec website yesterday, $300 is basically what I need to pay for a wheel and pedals..and another 70 bux for a shifter. Jeebis that's expensive.

I hate using the controller as I can't keep the car straight, it's not natural, though I almost always in 1st place on hard.. I would do advanced/expert if I had a freaken wheel. lol.

I can't use kinect, my play would maximum be of 5 mins, same as for the xbox wireless nonsense. I'm debating. I'd go for it if I can get a coupon...civicdrivir is my life line right now, because you can only get a discount code if you made a previous purchase.

 

Yes, I do have the Fanatec, however I am not using it yet. The stand I was using with the Logitech isn't working that well with the Fanatec, so I need to build my new rig. Probably next weekend. Build quality though - its amazing.

The Logitech wheels dont work with the xbox. The only wheels that do are:

-Fanatec
-Microsoft
-Wireless Microsoft motion thing ( )

Ill check out the discount code. I havent received anything yet. I will need to see if its a one time use deal though, I need to purchase the pedals from them. For now I just have the adapter to use the Logitech wheels.
