I keep all my cars so I can get discounts on parts. I try and not race any car that is alredy level 5 unless I have 5 cars of the same make already at level 5 so my discounts are already maxed out.

 

^I do the same. I have three S2000's because first of all I love them and second because I find myself always using them, so I spend 20k and win a shit ton more than that with them and also get the discounts since all of them are Level 5.

i want to race some guys. im really into heavy tuning. i can outperform cars that are higher class than me.

thats how i make my money. racing A class cars in S class races etc.

 

Glad to hear I'm not the only one having problems with the MS wheel. Although it is getting easier to use after a few days. Slower times or not, the game is a lot more fun with the wheel.

Hell yea. I think I'm up to 60 or 70% off of Honda and Audi upgrades because I use those manufacturers the most.

My FORZA has been freezing too much lately I even downloaded the game to the hard drive to no result. I may have to buy another copy. I did verify with other games, the laser reads them fine.

 

^Damn Mark that sucks man. I put mine on the hard drive the first day I got it and I haven't had a problem yet.

 

mine would ALWAYS freeze too every single time i try to do any gaming in "free play"...i pick a car, pick a track, click start race and it freezes every time, but thank god, no freezing on career mode.

hey is there any way to race in the rain or at night on tracks?? i kind of miss this feature from other racing games. rain would be too much fun and i wanna see my headlights flip up on my F355 challenge!

 

GT5 will have both, Forza 3 has neither unfortunately. Closest you can get to nighttime is the startline at Catalunya lol

Speaking of that, my girlfriend and I were playing yesterday and she asked why there was no weather or night driving in the game. I think that would have been a great addition to an already awesome game. I think the game can't be considered the #1 simulator until those elements are added.

 

You won't be disappointed with the Fanatec wheel. I highly recommend it. It's like a whole different game with it.

 

But GT5 does not have damage... so you need to pick your battles I guess. Personally I prefer damage modeling over weather/time of day...

not to mention the glitches like the rear view mirror shit. the flickering shadows, how every car runs off the road if its in front of you, or the predictable AI that will run you off the road if you are in a turn and taking its line.

I also can't stand how shitty the lighting is when adding vinyl to the car. Now I'm not one to put stickers all over the damn place but it would be nice to see what I'm doing when I decide to add something to the car.

Even if it is all cars... based on GT5 Prologue I still like the way Forza plays better...

 

just transferred everything from my 20gig to my new 120gig hard drive. Everything went smoothly and works perfect thank god, was so worried about my forza save getting corrupted or something
